My second time staying here it is the best hotel near the Vatican, the room we had was spotless ,love the marble bathroom, the lobby is also beautiful with a small garden patio outside,we had a tea kettle with tea and instant coffee ,the room had air-conditioning which was very much appreciated with the heat wave this summer, also a mini fridge provided. The only thing I didn't like was giving the key to the front desk every time I left the building, felt kind of like a 12 year old .

Just a block from the Basilica The key to leave on the lights, leaving the key at the front desk, and the rooms smelled damp.

The LOCATION- right near the St Peter's Basilica- so near the Vatican. Our stay was okay overall, but the location was definitely the highlight. It was amazing—however, I actually found another hotel on the same street that had a much better atmosphere and energy. The rooms are extremely close to each other, and the doors are very noisy because they require a lot of force to open and close. The hotel also uses large traditional keys for the rooms and a card system for the lights, which felt a bit outdated. Unfortunately, our experience with the noise complaints was very disappointing. My teenagers told me that while they were in the room, someone knocked very loudly on the door, and of course they did not open it. About 10 minutes later, after we arrived, we were simply talking normally when someone knocked loudly on the door again. We did not open it, and the whole situation started to feel uncomfortable—almost like something you would see in a cheap hotel movie. Later, there was another small knock, and we still did not open the door. Shortly after, the front desk called to inform us that they had received two noise complaints. I explained firmly that we were already in bed at that point. I was very disappointed with how the situation was handled. It felt like the hotel prioritized other guests’ complaints without considering our side of the story, perhaps because we were traveling with teenagers. If the hotel is intended for guests who prefer complete silence, no teens allowed, they should clearly state that. They should also be transparent about how close the rooms are to each other, since normal conversations can easily be heard. Because of this experience, I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to others. The breakfast also lacked variety, and considering the price we paid, I expected much more—similar to the quality and selection I experienced at hotels in Venice, Florence, or even Naples.

The location is great, the staff is amazing, and the breakfast is very good. The mattresses and pillows could be a little bit more cushioned.

Marcello is an excellent host and helpful, the whole experience at this hotel made our trip even more enjoyable. Is very short and walking distance to the Saint Peter’s square and the food around is delicious, totally recommend it. The breakfast is one of my top, the buffed offers many different options and all were delicious. All good

Wonderful location for exploring Rome. Check in was super easy and the staff were super helpful creating a map of attractions to visit in a short space of time and organizing a morning taxi to the airport and providing local dining options - the meal we had was so good. Nina the dog topped off a perfect one night in Rome.
