It was a nice place close to the Vatican City. It has a nice big patio and there are several restaurants around the house. It is close to a bus line that will take you into the city. The hostes were super accommodating and helped us get some transport for an excursion and to the airport. It is really a good place to stay. 100 % recommended.

To summarize the good: The shower, bed, and bathroom were great. The more expensive bedroom was luxuriously decorated, with the bedsheets and wallpaper fitting the saintly theme. The shower featured a sprinkler showerhead and high-quality shampoo, which was especially appreciated due to the terrible summer heat. The location was good, being just a few minutes away from Vatican City. The man who manages the property was kind and flexible; he even offered to store our backpacks for free after check-out. He made the property a more welcoming place, despite the horrible customer service before our check-in. Though there are some positives, there are a lot of problems with this property. First of all, the customer service was a shocking disappointment. My girlfriend called the property to ask them to open the door for check-in. However, the woman who picked up made us wait roughly fifteen minutes in the summer heat and told my girlfriend to "f*ck off"—literally, not figuratively. I found that bizarre because we had paid for an enjoyable experience only to be completely disrespected. That's disappointing. A professional business doesn't treat its paying customers like that. We were being patient and respectful, only informing them that we had arrived. It shocks me that she thinks this is a normal way to communicate. I advise this property to get someone with some decency, morals, and basic education in this role. Your customer service is just as important as the service you're providing. Secondly, after our check-in, we realized the air conditioning in our room was broken. To give you context, it was 37°C outside and inside. Strangely, the same woman who disrespected my girlfriend messaged us before we entered our room about the air conditioning. She had to clarify that the "air conditioning is working." That's suspicious and not transparent at all. Because if you have to say that something is working, it probably isn't. Air conditioning was promised but not delivered. I advise the property to repair or replace their air conditioning system for a more comfortable stay. Some constructive criticism to the property, but not a complaint: Although the remote had a "Netflix" button, the room only offered basic cable television. It would be a simple and inexpensive upgrade to provide a television with smart functionality. In Italy, a smart TV can be purchased for as little as €150. Given the rates charged by this property, upgrading the televisions should be an easy decision.
