Breakfast was great The ac was not cool enough. It was far better than nothing, but a few more degrees would have been nice

Near to the Vatican Old and small elevator, I just find it weird that you need to manually close the interior doors to ensure it continues to work.

Great location in a quiet street right outside of the Vatican. Modern, clean. Great AC. Convenient checkin with a link + codes to open doors. Emilia was very communicative and helpful via WhatsApp throughout our stay. Breakfast was simple but enough to give us a decent start (yoghurt, juice, coffee, some bread etc). Highly recommended! Some issues with the WiFi in our room being a bit flaky at times. The tourist tax (6 EUR/night/person) was not included in the booking.com price and had to be paid separately afterwards but I guess that’s standard and not Sotto’s fault.

best part was the ease to walk around - location was value for money. Although we never met our hosts - communication was good and efficient, problems were solved quickly. it would have been nice to meet our host in person ...quiet normal with this type of B&B.

The guesthouse was approximately 20 minutes by taxi from Rome railway station. The location was excellent, just around the corner from St. Peters and a row of great restaurants a few minutes walk away. There was a lift to access our room on the 4th floor. We ended up with Whatsapp contact with someone from the Guesthouse. The continental breakfast provided in the dining room was adequate with fresh croissants delivered to our table. A taxi car was organised to pick us up and take us to the airport and this service with the driver was smooth and efficient. Both cleaners we encountered during our 2 night stay spoke good English and were very helpful and able to sort out queries we had. The Check-in was confusing. The so called Smart Check-in could be deemed lazy check in. We were travelling and had no access to internet that morning and arrived at the time we stated which was well within the standard check-in period. Thank goodness for a man outside the building who buzzed through to someone. A cleaner was sent to show us where to go (as we ended up staying in another building across the way), how to get in and how to work the old style lift. The walls of the room were paper thin and we heard everything from next door on both nights including a 2.30am session on our last night. Also of concern was the internal door handle of our communal kitchen/entry area...it came off in our hands and it was obvious this had been repaired unsuccessfully many times in the past. Surely a fire hazard. Thank goodness again for a cleaner who put it back in and noted our concern. We note that we did not see nor hear from "our hosts Alessio ed Emilia".

Great location only a stones throw from the Vatican and very close to San Pietro rail station. There was also a bus stop very nearby. I had a good big double room which had excellent air con which was much needed in what was a warm and humid week in Rome. The kitchen had good facilities and there was a fresh cornetto waiting on you every morning as well as a good supply of coffee, juice, yogurt & cereal. The pillows weren't the most comfortable.

We were told there is a discount for parking but parking owner was not aware of any discount. I wish we were informed at the time of booking by the owner about requirements to send photos of passports via WhatsApp because l would rather book a hotel with reception desk to hand them in personally especially that we travelled with kids.

Close to Vatican and St. Peter’s Basilica, walkable distance to city centre. Paid parking nearby 35$/ night. Very simple breakfast ( croissants , yogurt and coffee) but there is a store across the street to buy more products. I loved the location and how the host was proactive and informative at every step. I bought the transfer from the airport from the host. Good value and stress free. The driver was in touch with us over WhatsApp. The location is so good you have to mention it twice. Close to everywhere from the Vatican to a supermarket ( that is just behind the corner and you can see it from the bedroom window). Plenty of good restaurants- some really good ones recommended by the host over the WhatsApp chat. I was not aware that the kitchen annex/ breakfast area will be shared with people from another room. That took me by surprise. We shared a fridge, and I was not sure, whether the water bottles were for all guests or whether they were bought by the people from the other room. This was not a big issue. The room was a really good value for the money spent.
