Hotel 55 Fifty five

Really good location, good staff, nice rooms

Location The Annex building is not comparable to the main building (which I’ve stayed in before). The hallway carpets were filthy with big dirty stains. The elevator barely worked and I got stuck in it one day and was rescued by a construction worker.

Central location

we had a good stay. The location is excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and the breakfast was simple but good, with plenty of seating. The air conditioning didn’t cool the room very well, even though it was running 24/7. The soundproofing is poor, so we could clearly hear footsteps from the floor above and doors slamming. The entrance area is quite small, and the elevator is tiny and slow. The bathroom also needs a shelf for clothes and hooks to hang towels

The property and location Nothing

The location is amazing and the bar just below has the best pastries and coffee! The room is small for 4 people. My 14 year old son had his feet off the bed the whole time. There’s only One small tiny elevator that fits only two people.

Nothing The staff are just none brain people

The room was cleaned regularly, but there was an unpleasant smell that remained throughout my stay. The hotel did not have an elevator, which was not a major issue for me during the stay. However, upon check-out, I had heavy luggage and called the reception several times for assistance. Unfortunately, the receptionist was alone and no one was available to help. Having to carry my luggage down by myself was very disappointing and left a negative impression of the overall experience.

Staff wasn’t as helpful. Rooftop pieces fell on top of my head we called to ask someone to check but no one came. After an hour we contacted them again and they apologized and offered to move us to a different room but we didn’t feel safe or comfortable to stay in the room anymore. We asked them if they can at least help get us a taxi to the airport cuz we didn’t want to stay the night at their hotel. Staff left us on seen and never responded.

Small - price - elevator was a problem as people leave it open and sometimes does not work

When we booked the hotel we wanted the Hotel 55 location. After check in we realized we have to walk a lot too another location which was with lower quality. It was disappointing.

I loved the location since it’s on via Del corso. I love and appreciate the free water bottles in the room refrigerator and nespresso machine in the room. The price could of included breakfast

Location Not clean

The AC and the room cooling is not the best, be careful in summer.

Clean room, good size, gave us a free room upgrade on check in Elevator service is limited but to be expected in Rome

great location and very clean we weren’t aware our room would be in a different location several blocks from the main hotel in a separate building . It was also quite warm

There is no Air conditioning, I had to change room because it was really hot, and the other one was the same. I had to pay 200 € extra to be located in the main building, because they wanted to locate me on an annex building which would have been worse than the main building. On top of that , you can hear the steps of people in the room above!!! Really difficult to get some sleep. The elevator is really small, me and my wife barely fit with the luggage, I would not recommend to book this hotel. I will never go back there.
