The apartment was exceptionally spacious and a great location. So many amazing restaurants within a 10-15 min walk. We absolutely loved our stay. The only thing that could have made the stay better was a second bathroom - we were a family of five adults, but that was our fault for not checking that, not the apartment’s fault! ;-)

Was located in a great location for seeing all major points in Rome. Was hard to located at first, signage for which floor it’s located on was not very clear.

We loved the location and the staff. The apartment was also perfect for our group and stay. It was warm and well equipped. The bathroom smelt a bit damp but it was clean. It was very rainy during our stay which made for difficult conditions.

We received an upgrade to the suite, and it was very comfortable

The front desk was extremely helpful. Bathroom could use more lighting but not a deal breaker.

My room had an incredible view to the Piazza downstairs. Staff was very kind and friendly too. The elevator could smell a little funky of intense cleaning product but it functioned well nonetheless, and the water bottles in the mini fridge were not replaced every night.

Location is so good and the bed is really comfort Bathroom was stinking because of moisture. Room's window is looking at the air condition unit, It was loud and smells bad as well. And the other thing is the sheets which covers the duvet is just a sheet and I can see the unclean duvet inside the sheet.

Location and nice interior

Great apartment in the heart of Rome — surprisingly quiet even though it’s right on a lively square full of shops and cafes. We had a room with a bathtub and absolutely loved it. The bed was super comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. No major downsides — just a small and slow elevator, and it would have been nice to have a bit more seating space or a small kitchenette. But these are minor things that didn’t affect our overall experience.

Splendor has a lot to offer - it's incredibly located just by Via del Corso, close enough but not directly on the street, so you're a bit further away from the noise of that busy street. The staff was always helpful and polite, and even though we never needed to use it, the possibility of having a 24h WhatsApp reception was a nice touch. The rooms were always kept clean and we loved the little coffee station around the corner. The bed was comfy, and the sheets were good quality. Your satisfaction with the hotel might depend on the room you choose. We chose the most economical at the time, and it was a room without much of a view (which wasn't a big problem - you don't come to Rome and stay in the city center to look outside - but the presence of noisy AC machines right outside the window eliminated the possibility of opening the windows to vent the room; adding to it, there was also a constant fried food smell, probably coming from a downstairs restaurant). What was a bit disappointing were the small size and the unkept state of the shower (the headset needed replacing) plus the smaller, yet surprisingly unkept things like the light fixtures, wobbly and not attached properly. If you're deciding in a room, splurge for a bigger one, preferably with a view over the beautiful piazza di San Lorenzo which the hotel is overlooking. One thing you also need to remember - the hotel is located at the 4th and 5th floors of the building: there is an elevator the code to which you receive upon checking in. If you cannot walk up that many floors and/or if you have luggage, consider asking for the code upfront.

The location was perfect. It was walking distance to all major cultural attractions such as the Trevi fountain, the Spanish steps, the colosseum and the Vatican along with many historical buildings. The staff were helpful and made us feel at home. Restaurants and cafes were close by and a variety of shopping was close at hand. Provide clearer instructions upon arrival as we were unsure how to access the reception. An intercom system may be helpful to assist customers upon arrival.

Very good

Location was the selling point for us. In the middle of a lot of must-see places in Rome. easy to walk to most of them. Nice piazza in upscale area- prices as expected for food etc. difficult to find entrance. Perhaps some detailed info in the description might be useful to tourists like us not used to European style inner city hotels. The elevator was very small (not the hotel's fault-came with the building) but it had a really bad smell that didn't go away for the length if our stay.
