B&B Claudia a Monteverde

Really good place to stay, well communicated with city-centre. Extremely friendly host. Nice breakfast included in the already very affordable price. A lot of conveniences around - shops, restaurants, multiple bus/tram stops. Beds could be a more comfortable. Obviously it's a room with shared bathroom - so it has its own cons

It was well cleaned and fully occupied with the basic needs which made our stay their easier than expected

Claudias father Mauro was a fantastic host. He was very welcoming and explained everything to us. He even gave us food recommendations. Light breakfast was provided! The location is a little ways out from the center of Rome but we took public transit. There are close tram and bus stops

The B&B is a nice option for a short stay. It’s simple but clean, and the price is fair for what you get. A good choice if you are looking for something affordable and practical. Maybe adding a few plants on the terraces and a light room fragrance could make the atmosphere even more welcoming.

The host is super lovely and kind. It was SUPER CLEAN. There is all you need in the house. Also, the breakfast was really good, and i really love coordination of everything. Also, the neighbours were super nice and welcoming.

Everything was great. Breakfast was kinda rich (sweet and salty options) and distance from center isn't that bad (lots of bus stops and a shops nearby). Cleaning servise and quite flatmates were also nice. We really enjoy ourselves. Thanks ? Sometimes cold at evenings and little moldy bathroom but nothing terrible :) I'm recomending afterall.

everything was great. the room is clean, furniture is in good condition, no insects or dirt. the owner is very friendly and willing to help young travelers. in terms of location it is also quite a good place if you have a ticket for public transport. you can get to the center in about 30 minutes. highly recommended hostel!

We had a wonderful two-day stay at B&B Claudia in Monteverde. The location is fantastic, offering easy access to local attractions while being nestled in a quiet and charming part of town. The room was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, providing a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Our host, Mauro, truly made our stay special. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, offering helpful tips on nearby sights and the best local spots for dining. Mauro’s warmth and hospitality made us feel like we were staying with a friend rather than at a B&B. We left feeling well-rested and enriched by our experience at B&B Claudia. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to explore Monteverde with a gracious host like Mauro!

The room is spacious, clean and tidy, facing the street, a little noisy. The owner is very friendly and will explain all the tourist information you need. The breakfast is packaged and the room number is written on it, don't take the wrong one. The bathroom is shared, three rooms and six people, it‘s a bit awkward in the morning, you need to wait to take a shower, brush your teeth, and go to the toilet (in fact, the dry and wet separation can resolve most of the embarrassment). The floor is a bit high, you have to climb 60 steps. Finally, the city tax is ridiculously high, 6 euros per person per night, we two stayed for four nights, this amount of money was beyond my expectation, it is the highest city tax among the hotels we stayed in during our one-month trip around Italy. The transportation of this location is not very convenient. We took a taxi from the airport to here for 55 euros. There is no direct bus back to the airport. You have to take a bus first and then transfer to the airport express. There is a No. 8 bus to the city center that can go directly.

Everything! Starting witht the host, the place, the fact that it was perfectly clean and the breakfast was included in the price. Everything was perfect

the place is quite close to Trastevere station which can take you from the airport and back. not far from the apartment there are busses 8 & H which can take you to the center with Navona piazza, Panteon etc. and much closer are buses 31 or 33 directly to Vatican. there are small shops and cafés. in the description I read about terrace, but it appeared that not all the rooms have access to it. this is probably the only thing that was upsetting.

The room is very clean and comfortable. We traveled together with a friend and walked a lot, so we needed a quiet place where we could relax in the evening and get enough sleep. The location is convenient, bus stops are nearby. We hope to come back again :)

The place was very comfy, quiet and nice. Close to the Vatican. Nothing to write.

It was neat and the owner “Mauro” was supper friendly. He made me and my friends laugh anytime we speak with him ? I asked for an iron, which was not part of the services, but he went and bought a new iron and iron table for me ?and I believe the upcoming guests can use too. I recommend this property to everyone! If I visit Rome anytime, I am contacting super Mauro ❤️ Nothing, Everything was extremely gooodd!
