Great hosts! Great location! Loved that I could control the AC in my private bedroom. I live on a small island in the cooler temps NW of the U.S. so heat is rough on me especially when trying to sleep. So being able to cool down my room was gold! Really cute place, great neighborhood. Quiet at night . Second floor so not too bad carrying luggage. Appreciate the espresso machine!!! I really respect the conservation that Europeans do when it comes to AC usage and Rome is hot in the summer. I was a bit too warm in the shared spaces of kitchen and living room but that’s just me. I’m not used to that. Only mentioning incase a fellow traveller gets overheated easily. (Normally I travel to Europe/Italy spring and fall where heat wouldnt be a factor)…& and I was able to keep my own room cooler especially when my phone got too warm walking to sights and would no longer show maps or charge due to overheating. My cooler room was a lifesaver to get my phone cooled down!and me as well! ?). But again! I super understand and respect the local conservation. I’d guess regardless of where I’d stay, this would factor in? Not just this location(which I liked A LOT!) . And not a big deal..just a note for folks that overheat easily ..and come in summer..Would love to come back in spring or fall. The hosts, apartment,& area were all lovely!

A little difficult to find.

Great location and great space. The host was very helpful and kept the place very clean with breakfast every day.

Meticulously clean. Comfortable. Loved the shared living and kitchen and terrace. Location was amazing and communication clear. We asked for directions from airport and was told to take FL local train instead of Roma Termini which saved us time. Neighborhood was filled with restaurants but wasn’t loud or dirty. Beautiful quaint buildings. Really nothing but others might not like two flights of spiral stairs or the three keys involved in getting to you room (outside, into apartment, into room).

Clean, great AC. Nothing!

Breakfast was simple but we liked that. It was nice to have breakfast and coffee on the outdoor patio. We walked a route to the Vatican that took us by some beautiful views of Rome from higher up. It was on a beautiful tree lined road that included sites like Janiculum Hill.

Breakfast provided was lovely and helped us save a bit of money. Beds were comfy, room was private and quiet and warm. WiFi was a bit inconsistent in our bedroom.

In the heart of Trastevere, the room was very quiet and very close to transports

The location was perfect, central, walkable and had a great atmosphere with local taverns and restaurants. The hosts were contactable and helpful. The rooms cleaned impeccably (maybe of the cleaner could not pack items in draws to avoid losing items). Amenities great, coffee machine was welcomed and kitchen and upstairs space lovely. Breakfast options are not great, some fresh items like fruit or bread to toast would be ideal

The location is excellent! Breakfast could have been better. Maybe some fruit?

You have to go up a spiral staircase to get to apartment so carrying bags may be difficult (but it’s doable). We had two large suitcases and backpacks and made it work. It is more of an apartment style but you have your own room that is spacious and share the living spaces (kitchen and balcony).

Amazing location, right in the heart of Trastevere.

Great location, charming accommodation, uncomplicated host. Easy access to everything, many options for dinner at your doorstep. Nice room, nice big modern bathroom. We found the beds and pillows too firm for us.

We loved our stay at Calisto 6!! The room was comfortable and warm (we stayed during colder weather). Breakfast on the patio was delightful. The staff was helpful, welcoming, and kind. Trastevere is my favorite neighborhood to stay in Rome, and this location within the neighborhood is excellent. Highly recommend!!
