Breakfast was simple ,sufficient , dining room could be open longer ,coffee should be available all day. The property was not in the centre of ROME , 20 km away from centre. The best thing about Casa Romana was the short 10 min walk to the train. From there for 2.5-4 Euro any destination in Rome could be reached within 20-30 min. Casa Romana is located in very quiet residential district. I did not like the pillow it was too flat to my comfort.

I honestly don't recommend this place!! We booked a 4-night stay, expecting what was shown on Booking.com, but were met with several issues. First, we were given a different room than advertised — instead of a ground floor unit, we got a top floor room with completely different amenities. The bed linens were dirty and had hair on them. Only after we threatened to report the issue did someone come and switch our room. The next morning, they insisted on changing the bed sheets, which we found odd — especially since there was no cleaning done. On the second day, they only remade the bed without replacing the sheets. We suspect they tried to take the clean linens back for another guest and gave us the ones from the original dirty room. The room was supposed to have air conditioning, but the controller was missing, so it was unusable. The breakfast was also very underwhelming — nothing like the photos. There were half-used juice bottles in the fridge from day one, and they stayed there until we checked out. Nobody touched them, and clearly, nothing was refreshed. It seems like this property provides different standards for different guests!!

The staff was very friendly. The location, there is no facilities around, without a car is very difficult.

Good location and near the metro station. The host was great, and she was responsive and helpful. The house was very pleasant to stay in, with a great garden and pool.

It made me fanancial damage either

It was a lovely room with a beautiful side yard in a very nice neighborhood. It was a little far from the city center, but easily navigable with the Metro.

Location is 7-8 minutes by foot from the torre gaia station and in a calm and guarded neighbourhood that felt safe. The owner of the house is such a lovely person and very helpful. The room and the whole house were always clean. Beautiful house with an Italian traditional spirit! Breakfast needs some upgrade and the pool should be free of charge. However for me that was not a problem and everything was very nice!

nice room, beautiful house with interesting decor, comfortable and very friendly host. Also Torre Gaia is a good, safe area of the suburbs very thin walls, loud automatic fan and bright light in the bathroom that took a while to turn off

The representation was like tea/ coffee time for 9/4 O'clock. (snacks were there coffee juice , milch) Real Breakfast bread, cheece, eggs , fruits etc For some one staying longer .they need to buy a small cooker where you can maybe cook a suppe, egg etc and provide some utensils 2plates,spoons etc. (we had a dinning but i would prefer a small kitchen)

Once very good thing was the air conditioning in a 38 degree day. You must press turbo first to make the temperature less. It is set to 23 degrees. Bed was comfortable. Restaurants about a 600m walk. Verandah in room is nice. First, the host took so long to answer our WhatsApp messages which she told us to message her on, after we called her. Leaving us stand outside on 35 degree day for about 20 minutes. Second, the address is totally wrong on booking.com. The address says it is 37 but it is 37a which is down the side street next to 37. Go right down the end of the lane and there is a tiny sign on the gate saying hotel name. Third, if you copy and paste address into google maps it takes you to a totally different house 450m down the road. This property has alot of potential. They have gone for the shabby chic but unfortunately repairs need to be done. Bedside socket broken, cracked tiles, a lot of mould in the shower we couldn’t use it. Bathroom tap very loose. Sheets on bed were very crumpled-looked like someone else slept in it. Very old towels that need replacing. We booked and paid for parking but it is “first in best dressed” parking in lane way. If you leave the car-spot it may not be available on your return. There is a pool that is $10Euro per person to use. Ridiculous!! Breakfast was poor and very minimal. Just prepackaged horrible cakes/biscuits. Coffee machine filthy. If owner could fix the rooms this place would be fantastic.

Location is good, the building looks nice. We received different room from what we booked.TV was not working, so was the AC. The toilet often didn't want to flush. We needed to ask for toilet paper. The pool is not free, you need to pay extra.
