Stay on the property for only 1 night. It’s cute country winery vibe hotel, lots of nature around. They have a restaurant and breakfast for a good price. It’s pretty far from everything, you need a transportation, you can’t walk because nothing is close.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Restaurant was very good. The immediate surroundings are quite nice (further away not so much - see below). The mechanism to lock the door in the room was very far from obvious, it took me long time to solve it, somewhat due to language barrier. The area on the other side of the main road is quite unpleasant and would not want to visit it at night, but it is not that close to the accommodation.

Cozy decoration, polite staff, good price, fast Wifi. Hotel is located in 2 km from Pomezia-Santa Palomba train station where you can get to Roma Termini in 20 minutes. But you can’t walk to the station because there are no sidewalks and it’s an industrial area. That’s why a hotel offers transfer to the station and from the station (5 euros).

While the building is quite interesting (very old convent fully transformed into a modern hotel), the location is fairly isolated. A taxi or walk through some farmland is required to reach the main road. There is a very good restaurant immediately adjacent to the hotel, so for some this may not be an issue or may even be desirable. In some areas the free wifi does not work well. The suite is advertised as having a living room, however ours was just a large bedroom.

I have arrived late and the staff left the card for the room outside. The place is nice, it's an ancient cloister that was refurbished and transformed in a hotel/restaurant. Good value for money. The acoustic insulation is not good, but due to many rooms being directly under the same roof it is almost impossible to have a proper acoustic insulation. If your neighbors are loud you definitely need some earplugs to sleep. The breakfast was good, but the choice minimal - only sweet food, no salty option (but you should keep in consideration that you're in Italy and here the typical breakfast consists of coffee and croissants)

The Casale Certosa is situated down a side road and is lovely and quiet. The rooms are really spacious, airy and comfortable. The bathroom was large, clean and had everything that we needed. Breakfast was a buffet self serve which had everything you would require to set you up for the day. We had a meal in the restaurant in the evening which was good value, with really generous portions. The owner was a really friendly person, nothing was too much trouble for him and he really made us feel welcome, thank you for a lovely stay There was nothing we did not like about our stay, we did have a bit of trouble sorting out the lights in the room but it was more us not following the instructons than anything else

The best thing about this hotel is the dark haired woman on reception. She very kind and even organised for me to get a lift with a staff member - for €10 - to the local village. The pool is also amazing. The food in the restaurant is good. The WiFi is dreadful. I gave up and hot spotted with my phone in the end. If you don't have a car stay somewhere else! If reception hasn't organised my lift to the village it would have been impossible to get to there and it's only about 5 km away. When it came to book a taxi to the airport the only option was a fixed price of €85. The same journey on the way up, on the meter, was less than €60. While the food in the restaurant is very good the waiters had no time or patience for a woman eating on her own. I eat all over the world in restaurants by myself and hadn't expected this attitude here. A good sign is that it's full of locals in the evenings but the fact that despite my trying, via Google translate, to see a wine list, none was forthcoming and I ended up ordering an expensive bottle of Prosecco just because it was easiest, is not a good sign. The waiter who served me my desert, threw in on the table and walked away. I don't expect to go to another country and expect my language to be spoken; that's unspeakable arrogance. But I do expect a hotel to make an effort and this fell short on many fronts.

very sweet and friendly staff, location was awesome. we took the train to Rome for two days. Cats to pet- that was great the room was a little dark but clean. The shower was very tiny but was good enough for our stay.

Great, here's an example review that incorporates the points you mentioned: We recently stayed at this hotel and overall, I had a decent experience. On the positive side, the price was very reasonable and the hotel itself was absolutely beautiful. One major downside was its location - it's about 2 km from Pavona and the road leading up to it is quite busy without a pavement, making it a difficult accommodation for those without a hire car. Additionally, a few weeks before our arrival, I informed the owner that we would be arriving late due to a delayed flight. While he initially agreed to ensure someone would be there to check us in, on the day of our arrival, he only sent us the location and didn't respond to any of my subsequent messages. As a result, we ended up outside the closed reception at midnight. Thankfully, a worker at the restaurant on the premises was able to contact the owner and get the check-in details for us. Overall, while the hotel itself was lovely, the lack of communication and difficult location made for a stressful arrival experience.
