Location in the historic city was great. So close to Basilica S. Maria Maggiore, Colosseum, restaurants, and more. Wish we had had time to explore more! Breakfast was terrific and with plenty of options (eggs, meats, cheeses, pastries, etc.) The staff was tremendous! They helped with dinner recommendations (which were excellent), called taxis (so we didn't get ripped off!). Each and every one was helpful and genuinely interested in seeing that we enjoyed their city. Place was super clean, comfortable bed, etc. Our room layout was amazing on two levels and the decor was incredible! The murals throughout were stunning and we loved the furnishings. Nothing was "cookie cutter." We found it incredible how they managed to fit modern conveniences (bath, outlets, wifi) into a historic structure and location. Don't miss the roof top patio, either! Beautiful at night. Other than that it was a bit of a challenge to figure out the shower settings (not a fan of the overhead "rain shower") can't think of a thing.

Charming Hotel in Rome City Center with Wonderful Staff near Santa Maria Maggiore
-
Everything was great! Staff was awesome! Rooms and Bathrooms were clean and comfy. Would have like complimentary breakfast or Coffee each day.

Room was tiny as expected in all European countries, but comfortable, and with an excellent shower. Staff was amazing. Both kind and helpful. Wonderful little hotel in a perfect location. Tiny rooms and elevators, but that is to be expected when visiting Europe.

The staff and location
-
The best part of the place is the paintings on the walls The rooms were small but manageable

The staff are amazing. Welcoming and attended to all my requests with flexibility and a smile on the face. Ceiling of the room has a lot of art, so authentic. Highly recommended

Definitely recommend! The hotel is in a great location from the termini station and so many main attractions. The hotel is very nicely decorated and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Big thanks to the young lady, Matilda, for the hospitality and conversation. She gave us great directions to St. Peter’s Square.

The location is excellent, the staff was really polite, always smiling and always happy to help. The hotel is really clean, the rooms were clean, the hot water ran fine, inside the hotel it was quiet. They try to offer a bit of variety for the breakfast. We also liked the lady that helps with the breakfast setup. She was really friendly and polite. The room is rather small. Just a bed, a wardrobe and a table, and limited space to move around. But that is normal for Rome. The windows don't do a great job on blocking out the noise from the street, but then again, this is one of the busiest cities in the world. The breakfast area is rather small (8-10 tables) and you have to book a table in advance. They also have a small couch where you can wait in case all the tables are full. Even so, we had no problem finding a free table.

Amazing location super polite staff

The staff were exceptional, made sure my needs were met. Excellent location.

The decoration was nice, with (reproductions of) murals and paintings on ceilings. We did not get the room I had paid for, if it even exists, which I doubt in that cramped old house. I was promised a large room, "for up to 3 people", "with a view", and importantly, "with wall outlets near the bed". None of that was true. The room was small, had no view, and the few wall outlets were so worn out that the plugs just fell out, so my laptop died all the time. When I complained, the old guy at the reception who pretended not to understand much just said "at least you have a quiet room", and only showed an ever smaller room. The elevator could barely hold 2 people, and the breakfast room was tiny and overcrowded so some people did not get a seat.
