It was beautiful, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Great location and excellent value for money. Nothing not to like!

The room was very clean and comfortable bed. The cleaner making lots of noise at 8am in the morning in the room next to us. This was annoying because we couldn’t sleep in. We were about to do 24hrs of travelling and didn’t appreciate this. I thought the front desk staff were very dismissive. 4 times we asked them to order us a taxi and they only ordered it the fourth time. This was not a problem at the previous hotels we stayed at. We enquired about the hop on hop off bus and one reception staff member said do it yourself online but we saw that this could have been organised for us by them. The bar snack menu was very poor. We ended up going out to get snacks elsewhere. The coffee at breakfast was awful and we asked if there was another coffee machine and was told it’s broken. Great coffee is a must have in the morning. I heard a lot of people complain about it. No jams available either. The furniture is very tired and dirty in the bar area and foyer.

Small and friendly hotel in a fabulous location. Loved the outside terrace. Staff were very hospitable. We would love to return on our next visit.
