The overall hotel was very sweet and quaint. We really enjoyed the rooftop bar and the location was great just outside the city center, but easily accessible by the Subway to hit the main attractions. Check-in was easy and they were able to store our bags upon arrival until our room was ready. The pool area was very unique and fun, would definitely stay again. Nothing

Close to metro and vatican

Decent breakfast spread, very friendly and helpful staff, good location within a short distance to Cipro metro stop. We stayed in family rooms that had two large beds, so it was good value for money.
-
Staff not very responsive or friendly to tend to requests like TV not working, or needing an extra pillow.

The location and facilities The pool that is indoors BUT it is an amazing indoor pool, I just like the sun.

The service at restaurant/breakfast was very poor (the food was good tho). The staff can't keep up with refilling the empty dishes, new plates etc. The coffee is either filtered or made by a barista, but to have the barista coffee the staff needs to come to your table to take your order, you are not allowed to ask the barista directly. In the 5 days that we stayed there not once the staff came to our table (we had breakfast at various times, with the restaurant both empty and full). We have observed how the tables around us were served the coffee and were relieved that we stuck with the filtered coffee as we didn't have to suffer through it. If they were lucky enough to get a staff member to come to their table, the coffe would take 20+ minutes to arrive, when they were already done with the food. And a table next to us had a coffee delivered cold to her twice, she said it was not even slightly warm.

Excellent stay at Mama Shelter Roma. Great vibe and amazing service. Special thanks to Andreea she was absolutely amazing, friendly, and very helpful. She made my stay even better.

The hotel allocated a corner room for us which is equipped with a working table at my request, and more importantly, is very comfortable, spacious, and clean! You couldn’t have expected something greater! There is an espresso coffee machine in the room. Smart TV with a lot of channels (we watched the World Cup literally in our room!). Everything is so fashionable and easy to use!

This hotel was great and the staff was lovely. Only complaint is that the elevator constantly smelled. In an area that was sometimes hard to get a Taxi but close to the train station. Smell in elevator

modern amnenities, near metro cipro station, near 24h carrefour

The rooms are spacious with large bathrooms and comfortable beds, and the restaurants offer a great variety of food

Decoration Amazing staff Pool Fun The breakfast was the only bad thing

Located only a 10 minute walk from the Vatican. Friendly staff, nice room. Good Child policy (free breakfast for our 12 year old daughter). Long wait times for check in. Breakfast very crowded running out of a lot of items frequently.

This is my first day at Mama shelter Roma and they exceeded all my expectations. Great location, so close for Cipro subway stop. You can get almost anywhere in Rome easily. Love the staff, the aesthetic, the room and the amenities. Also loved the pool, easy to make reservations. My only issues were that I could not get the tea kettle to work and why do European hotels not believe in wash cloths.

There is water in the room. They have night parties and you can't find a chill place to sit. Breakfast menu is very weak considering the price of it.

We liked everything about our stay there. From the amazing/friendly staff (basically everyone we encountered) to the cleanliness of the property (we didn't know what to expect but we loved our room) and the convenience of getting around Rome (metro station half a block away) everything/everyone exceeded our expectations and loved every minute of our trip to Rome!!! The restaurant/bar staff were amazing/engaging, front desk very helpful and friendly. We travel as a family at least twice a year and I don't remember the last time where we went somewhere and were pleased with every single aspect of our stay!! Thank you Mama Shelter Roma and the beautiful city of Rome!!! There was literally nothing we didn't like about our stay there!!
