Palazzo Donarelli

A real palazzo inside the old city of Rome. Attention to detail and very comfortable apartment.

The apartment was spacious and clean. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating. The neighborhood was very cute and had a lot to offer; nice restaurants and cafes. Great place! Thankful for the air conditioning on hot hot days. The bathroom was a bit outdated and the bidet didn’t work. Don’t run washer with too many other things going or it will blow a fuse. Not a big deal and an easy fix (fuse box by front door); just a heads up.

Central location in the Old Town, walking distance to the Vatican and most tourist attractions. Close to bus stops and walking distance to the nearest metro. Great value for money, for a generously sized apartment Good communication with host. Good internet connection Plenty of hot water for showers. Location is perfect - midway between Vatican and Piazza Navona. We loved the apartment! Good kitchen with a dishwasher and a capsule coffee maker, nice design, enough of fresh linen and towels. Shower gel available as well as a few supplies like tea, coffee, sugar, salt, oil, etc, much appreciated. Matresses are ok. A very quiet location, almost no traffic. Lots of restaurants nearby (we loved "Juliette", 5 min on foot on the same street). The owner is always ready to help, thank you Catherine! Nothing that I can think of. Well may be a couple of extra towel hangers in the bathroom, there are only 2 of them and with 4 adults in the apartment and all the towels being white it's too easy to confuse them))

The property was in a fantastic location close to many iconic tourist attractions. I cannot fault the property in any way and the communication and ease of all aspects of check-in and out was exceptional. Having to leave. I could have easily spent my entire holiday here and left happy!

ground floor off an inner courtyard, which was secure and relatively quiet, considering there was major roadwork on the street outside. the kitchen was well set up, and the decor was very stylish. communication with the host was good. I appreciated the bookcase in the lounge, with interesting reading in several languages- great for our rest periods! the back bedroom was large, big closet and very quiet. the washing machine needs attention- spin cycle faulty and rattling. it took 3 days to dry clothes in front of the fan. the bathroom is tiny, and do not turn off the switch in front of the toilet- it is the hot water!! the second sleeping space off the lounge lacked privacy- no door, no storage and open to the lounge along the ceiling.

What a charming and spacious apartment in a beautiful historic building.

Great location, clean and tidy. Value for money and good facilities. I’d happily stay here again. Only minor complaints; some of the power points worked, coffee Machine didn’t work on the induction stove top.

Lovely location and a quick stroll to all the main sites. Could be a little noisy but we slept fine

The location of the appartement was amazing. The appartment wasn't moderne, but the style was very nice and a good match for the old city location. We loved it there. The people renting it out was very nice and helpful. A little bit too noisy out side, but that's what it's like when you live in the middle of the old city.

The location was superb. Very easy to walk to the Vatican, the Pantheon and so many of the attractions of Rome. The street was safe and there were nearby bars and restaurants. It was also a quiet area, not overwhelmed by tourists partying. The host was wonderful and very responsive. The apartment is large and comfortable. I was aware when booking that the apartment is on the ground floor and looks into an interior courtyard - so the apartment is quite dark at all times of day. The beds are decently comfortable. The only thing that I wish I'd known in advance is that one of the bedrooms does not have a full wall that extends to the ceiling - it is a bedroom cut out of the living room with a sort of expanding screen dividing the bedroom from the living room. There is privacy - the dividing screen is high so you can't see anything in the bedroom from the living room.. However, any sounds in the living room are fully heard when staying in that bedroom. You can't be the first to go to bed or the last to wake up when you're staying in that bedroom. That said, as long as you're aware of those facts, the central location and ample space can't be beat.

The location was unreal. So close to everything. Very authenticly Italian . Great to have a washing machine Plenty of room. And air-conditioning was very welcoming in the hot weather. Loved that we vould open windows and doors and breeze went straight through. The bathroom was tiny and the toilet wouldn't allow the tallest of out group 6foot 2 to sit front wards . Bathroom smells mouldy. The beds were the hardest we have ever experienced.
