The room was great. Our bed was extremely comfortable and there was ample storage for our clothes etc. The bathroom was probably the nicest I've ever had in a hotel with double sinks, a spacious walk in shower with great water temp and pressure and also quite luxurious. The staff were very classy and efficient and it was obvious we were in a 5 star hotel. We did not eat in the restaurant and only had pastries and coffee in the morning. The location is just ok. The actual street is a bit boring and the neighborhood is not as charming as other areas we've stayed in Rome. The room could have been cooler not that we were sweating. This was not the only hotel we stayed in and others were able to keep the temperature cooler. When we had breakfast a lovely staff member brought us coffee and a tray of pastries which was nice but I would have preferred to see a menu and choose the pastries I wanted (as I didn't like all that they chose, and didn't want multiple) and only pay for what I want and also we were lead to the bar area to sit alone with our breakfast. It was a little weird. The rooftop bar/terrace was ok but seemed like it could be anywhere so not really worth spending our time there. I know it's not their fault, but this type of hotel will have many occasions like one that took over the rooftop for an evening and the beautiful outdoor restaurant for an evening, which was actually the evening of our anniversary when we would have wanted to eat there. When checking out the receipt requests a tip and suggests a range average of 20% of the hotel bill. I found that pretty disgusting and have never seen a hotel ask for that. I ignored it and not sure if it was a coincidence but the demeanor of the staff who helped us outside with our luggage seemed to change and the taxi we were given to take us to our next location ripped us off.

We had a fantastic stay at Palazzo Ripetta in Rome. From the moment we arrived early in the morning after a long flight, the team went above and beyond to accommodate us with an early check-in, which made a huge difference and set the tone for the entire stay. The hotel itself is outstanding — the rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, and extremely comfortable. Everything feels well thought out and maintained to a very high standard. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of fresh, high-quality options that made each morning a pleasure. The location is perfect — centrally located yet quiet, making it easy to explore Rome while still enjoying a peaceful environment. A special thank you to Pankaj, who was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. His assistance with the early check-in and his overall attitude truly elevated our experience. Highly recommended — we would absolutely stay here again.

Our stay at Palazzo Ripetta was truly extraordinary and exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and impeccably cared for. The building itself is stunning; elegant, historic, and beautifully maintained perfectly reflecting the charm of Rome. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and tastefully decorated, combining comfort with refined Italian style. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to ensure a relaxing stay. The location is simply unbeatable, within easy walking distance of major attractions, yet peaceful and quiet at the same time. What truly made our experience special was the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with recommendations and assistance, making us feel at home throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience in Rome and would absolutely return to Palazzo Ripetta.

The property is a brand new refurbished hotel from the 70s, opened in a former cathedral. It has a blend of modernist - art deco design, with exceptional attention to detail. But by far, its greatest strength is the people: an exceptionally profesional, kind and welcoming personnel, the likes of which I haven’t met in a hotel in Europe for a very long time. From the front door bell boy to the concierge they all make you feel special. Absolutely nothing, this is a 10/10 experience.

Service was great. Alex from the front desk was very helpful, attentive and made sure we had the best experience.

the breakfast is "continental". I do understand Italians do not have a breakfast culture - here is a bit of room for improvement. This however in the context that overall this is an almost perfect hotel
