Rome Sweet Home Vatican

Location was good, I did not have breakfast, although it was served in the rooms at a requested time. The room was simple and the bed was good to help my back. The walls were a little thin, but it wasn't anything to keep me up. Nothing, it was perfect for a short stay in Rome

The location was very good, the staff was exceptional and friendly, they cleaned the room regularly. The room was very small, and the bed was not very comfortable

- Nice decorations such as a themed doll of Christmas/New Year season and paper arts were placed on the room and the lobby. - Close to metro station (5 minutes of walk) and Vatican City (20 minutes of walk). - The receptionist extended the check-out for one hour. - Suggestion for meal plan: If you were to have a breakfast near the accommodation, 'Antico Caffè Candia' on 5 minutes of walk is recommendable. If you were to have a pick-up meal near the accommodation, 'Bonci Pizzarium' on 5 minutes of walk is recommendable. - This accommodation has self check-in. You will get a password for the key box 1 day before your arrival via booking.com message. You can meet the receptionist only from 10:00 to 12:00. - Faucet in the shower room is weak in water pressure, and there is a leakage on the connection. It needs to be fixed. - The room is in the inner corridor of 'ㅁ shaped' buillding. When you open the window, you have the view of half transparent ceiling of the building and no outside scenery. - City tax is 7 euros per night, although it is not a 5-star hotel. - Another guest brought a dog in his room, and it was not restricted. - There is no baggage storage with additional fee.

The room was nice .. we really appreciated Balcony :) cleaning lady was good too. Big thanks to guy Aldo on LINE -phone .. beauce he helped me with my documents i needed and find solution and send me what i needed.

There was no hot water in the shower

The only thing we like is the location--it is near St. Peter's Basilica and there are a number of good restaurants and cafes nearby. There was no shower heater--the water for bathing was ice cold. I asked them to fix it but they said there has been some problems with the pipes. I checked other google reviews about this written years back--and almost everyone were complaining about having no hot showers, meaning it's been an on-going problem ever since. I asked if there's an empty room with a working hot shower I can use in the meantime because I can't bathe in cold shower as I always get sick--they didn't even replied to me. The owners were not hospitable enough to help you book a taxi. They will just give you the number and tell you the call center speaks in English but actually, the prompts and the confirmation of getting a taxi is in Italian. They wouldn't tell you the good places nearby unless you ask. The faucet is too small to wash your face. The duvet is too thin. The locks on the main door is almost broken, difficult to close the door. Overall, the place looks rundown. Far from what's being advertised. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE.

The hotel is a 5 minute walk to Cipro station which makes getting around Rome by train very easy. During our 4 night stay at Rome Sweet Home Vatican, we did not have ANY hot water at all. I attempted to raise this issue with the hotel staff multiple times and to our surprise, they never attempted to fix the issue. We were required to shower in freezing cold water for all 4 nights. We also found silverfish bugs in our room.

Room, area Desk staff came in at 7am and made excessive noise, banged doors, not a pleasant experience when the rooms are so close to each other and there’s such little isolation.
