It had lots of amenities for kids ( kids programming , playgrounds, soccer fields, tennis courts and even a video games room ) and the pools were clean and close to the beach. There were a choice of restaurants and food was especially very good at Basilico (next to the pool). Marko was our waiter and he was great, very friendly and attentive. We did the buffet dinner at Lumina one nite , and thought there was a good selection of choices for what we paid (27€pp). We liked the fact too that you could bring your own food/drinks to the pool area. And there is a store and bakery on site so you don’t have to go into town for groceries. Finally one other great thing is that they have ferry service that runs every half hour to Rovinj , so no need to drive into town, in addition to a trolley bus service that also goes down the road. The air conditioning unit worked minimally but it did the job in taking the humidity out of the apartment we had booked. The decor and lighting in room could have been better, ( the lights were super bright and just basically light bulbs sticking out from the wall, so no ambient lighting there ) along with having a some tea towels for the kitchen, but otherwise it had the basics.

Nice beach. Clean water. . Comfortable sunbeds We had 2 bedrooms apartments with a balcony and a terrace in a 2 floor house.. Perfect. It was clean, well organized, and really pleasant to stay. Even though the resort is quite big, it does not feel that way. It is set in a pine forest and the 2 floor houses are spread on a large area. We will definitely come back this fall or the next year. We really did not like the restorants and bar services. Both hotel restaurants are of a TERRIBLE quality. The restaurant Lumina is absolutely the worst hotel restaurant that I have ever visited. The food there is a total disaster. The entry was 27e per person for "all you can eat buffet.... I have never seen anything like this. Minimal variety of food, with absolutely no taste and all made from frozen or pre-cooked processed food. The food simply was NOT edible. Detention camp quality of food. The offer of drinks was even worse!!! For 27e per person in "all inclusive buffet," the offer was ONLY warm disgusting water that was"served" from juice machine and had awful traces of juice flavor served for breakfast. Nothing else was included!!! No sodas, no juices, no coffee, no tea... nothing!!! The other restaurant, Basilico Pizza Pasta, was pretty much the same. Very overpriced food of low quality and small quantity. It's better than Lumina, but I prefer to be hungry that eat at these resort places. (BTW, there are excellent family owned restaurants 5 min walking from the Amarin resort) The staff working at the Amarin Resort restaurants is as bad as the food they serve. Totaly unprofessional, super unfriendly, and always angry. I felt like being served by forced labor. I also must mention absolutely terrible drinks and cocktails served at all resort places. All cocktails are made by some strange recipes: They use Minimum of alcohol, of the lowest quality and then they add water. No taste, no resemblance of the product it should be. Charging 8e for a watered down Mojito or Pinacolada that tastes like nothing is a barbarity.

A wonderful resort! We spent the days lounging on the beach, our apartment had everything we needed and beautiful view of the ocean from our room and deck.

The resort is huge (you can have a bit of a walk of around 10 minutes to the beach or restaurant inside depending of the location where you stay). But is is not that far when you learn to move around. The resort has stores inside so you can even manage to live here without getting out. The food provided is varied and fine, there are also various restaurants around or in Rovinj. Breakfast is 17€ / person daily and dinner is 27€ (dinner is served as a bufet). But you can get them included in the price paid. There is also a pizza & pasta location and one with burgers etc, so there is some variety. There is a taxiboat to Rovinj for 5€ / way and person, which is very usefull. You have a great beach at the resort, with either pebles and sunbeds/umbrelas or just sunbeds around the forest part next to the water but with rocks. It is still accesible. I understood that premium stays get the sunbeds included in the price, we bad no problems the prices were around 15 € / sunbed and 10€ / umbrela. We never had problems finding sunbeds, but the resort wasn’t fully booked so we don’t know about that situation. There are beachbars and two pools. A cocktail is around 8-12€ depending on type. There is plenty of parking inside. The resort if fairly green and feels like a park, very nice, but this comes at a little price worth knowing: you can get some bugs inside your room. There is also a very nice promenade next to the sea. It is nice during the day and very intimate by night. The staff is very kind and helpful. The room was decently equiped, the beds really confortable. We had no complaints with the amenities here. All in all, we had a great vacation and we would definetly consider coming back. Given that the resort is so big it cand get hard to mantain so you can find some slighly worn pieces of furniture, some apliances or room amenities that have small imperfections. Also, there can be found spaces which could have been cleaned better. Keep in mind that these are aspects that didn’t make our vacation here worse, you just need to be informed to bot have unrealistic expectations.

During our first two days of the stay in the standard apartment, the air-conditioning wasn't able to cool the apartment down, so we had there 28 to 30 degrees Celsius. Nevertheless, we were moved to another apartment with properly working air-conditioning.

That i had a place to sleep that one night. And a good staff member, she was really polite AC didnt work, it said we had a balcony and we didnt, small apartman for 120 euros for one night definetly not, loaction was awfull, i had to search for reception for 30 minutes and i found other people who were also looking for it, it was pretty unclean, If this apartman was a fair price like 45/50 mayyybeeee 60 euros per night just so people have a place to sleep one day then yes, otherwise? NO too expensive

The buffet breakfasts and dinners were delicious. When reporting a fault in the bathroom, it was attended to promptly. We were allocated an apartment on the top floor, which was very steep to walk up to and with our luggage it was very difficult climbing stairs. Being seniors, this affected our legs/feet, and breathing was affected. There was a waiter at the Basilico restaurant who served me the wrong meal, then gave us 4 knives and no forks. The freshly squeezed orange juice we ordered from the Menu turned out to be a horrible concentrated juice in a bottle. Distractions with people having their parties close to our unit and teenagers being very noisy at night.

Separate accomodation Beds underneath were not cleaned, cappuccino in machine was with sugar, orange juice didn't taste well, dinners were almost the same. Pools for swimming were open just till 18:00.

The location, close to the sea and to beautiful Rovinj. Upon request we got more blankets and pillows. Masses of tourists, impossible to eat anywhere except the very full buffet restaurant. Not really what I was looking for. There was no salt and pepper, or oil in the kitchen.

This has been our 3rd time we visited this place. We enjoy spending time here and we will come back. I appreciate all you have done to support our stay, and the present my dog has been given! Thank you for your kind hospitality! I cannot name any.
