Hotel Zum Baeren

We chose this hotel because it was one of only two in the town with Air Conditioning. They also had bike storage, which was very welcome. It was as average German hotel but unfortunately at above average prices. It's a decent place, but it is not 4 star.

Both the hotel and the room were clean, comfortable and convenient for the brief stay in Rudesheim am Rheim. The staff was efficient in setting us up for self check-in after hours (fwiw, the front desk has limited hours and at 7pm). fyi, the hotel asks that you pay only in cash for the local tourism fee.

Location is great for this hotel with a short walk to the main attractions in town. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the bathtub room was really nice. Parking can be tricky, and we had to pay in town at the paid lot. Not too big of an issue. I recommend doing check in online so that you save time when you get to the hotel.

Excellent location on edge of Altstadt and 15 minute walk from Bahnhof. Superb Frühstück. Delightful staff.

The property was located very close to great shopping and restaurants. The front desk staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. We were told that we could pay for the breakfast in advance but that we dis not need to. When we appeared for breakfast in the morning and paid for it, we discovered that there was barely any food left even though breakfast was scheduled to be served for another hour.

The room is better in person. Big enough. AC worked perfectly. Water pressure was excellent. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Location was ideal for us. This hotel exceeded our expectations.

Great location on quiet street, centrally located, good breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. Everything was nice.

Breakfast was good. Sunday was nice to have sparkling wine and salmon. This was not available Monday or Tuesday. The selection for breakfast was fresh and nicely presented. Our room was a good size, but we did not spend too much time in it as we were enjoying the christmas markets. The location was just off the main square which was goods, as it was a quiet room. Cant think of anything to write

Breakfast was good, personalized table setting. Not a lot could be done I guess but an Airline sized bathroom was a bit different.

Staff were excellent and a very clean hotel Typical tourist hotel- small and friendly Stairs to room even though it had a lift.

The hotel was just a short walk from the train station about 10 minutes approx. The hotel staff were welcoming. Our room was clean & comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel had plenty restaurants/ cafes & bars close by. Plenty walks available. No comments to make.

Location Because it was warm weather, we wanted air conditioning for better sleep. When we originally reserved the room, we thought it was included. It wasn’t but the hotel was able to modify our room.

very warm people at the reception the family room 44 was a bit confusing in the access. there should be clearer explanation on the access
