We love everything about the property. We had a very delicious dinner at the cozy and beautifully decorated restaurant. Breakfast was also very delicious at the terrace with beautiful views. We love our cozy room. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was fabulous, location was great for walking into Rudesheim, lodging was modern with old-fashioned charm. Parking was easy and check-in was great. Amazing Christmas decorations. Dinner meal in the restaurant was great.

The ambiance of Weingut Magdalenenhoff was outstanding! If we travel back to this area, we are without a doubt staying here again. Nothing

The hotel was absolutely wonderful. With our goal of having experiences vs hotel stays, this property was perfect. Felt like we were staying in a wonderful old winery with easy access to Rudesheim and all it has to offer. The staff was exceptionally friendly and happy to offer ideas and suggestions. The options of great food, wine, schnapps and brandy are also a great perk. We would definitely return when we go to Rudesheim again. Would have liked to have a refrigerator in our room.

We had difficulty with the wi-fi

Hotel, restaurant and winery. Situated beautifully 2,5 kilometres from the city centre outlooking over the Rhein and the wine yard. Nice room with balcony. Good bed. We booked a table in the evening and had a good meal with a Riesling from the winery. Slept very well and got a very good breakfast. We bought six bottles of the Riesling as a memory of our stay

Cute chalet style building with cozy rooms, It's more of a bed & breakfast than a real hotel. The location is pretty, on a spur of the hill amidst the vineyards, but that also has its disadvantages (see below). When there, the hostess is warm, friendly and chatty if you want to. The breakfast was good, less variety than standard hotels but high quality breads, jams, and charcuterie. The breakfast patio is beautiful, sunny with a great view of vineyards, Rudesheim and the river. The proprietors make respectable wines and some delicious brandies and cordials, offered at very fair prices to hotel clients. It's not made clear on the website or on Booking.com that the restaurant is closed part of the week (although breakfast is always served to hotel guests). Or that the reception is not open on certain days/times. They sent me an email with a passcode for the keybox and my room key, which worked OK. But when I arrived on late afternoon on a Sunday there was literally no one there, no food to be had and no one to give me directions or advice. The location, while pretty, is a long walk from any restaurants in the village center, especially when it's dark and cold in winter. Local taxis are few and expensive. I would still recommend this hotel for all the above reasons, but be forewarned or have a car at your disposal.

Nice terrace with view No ability to make a drink in the room and the rest of the hotel was locked up The bed was uncomfortable and hard. And the pillows to small and lumpy

The location and views are amazing. Our balcony was facing the vineyards and we could also see a glimpse of river Rhein. The food and wine in the beautiful restaurant delicious. Very nice staff. The bed was nice but could have been softer.

Its location, access to sample their own wines, the restaurant on site and quality of the breakfast. Finally the lady who looked after us at breakfast and checked us out was amazing and very helpful There was nothing to dislike although I made the mistake of staying on a Tuesday & Wednesday night, the restaurant is closed on a Monday and a Tuesday, we would have preferred to have eaten in house on both nights, the views are fantastic - in good weather

Nice views and good wine , quiet location , good buffet breakfast and good views. Good recommendations for dinner. The bed was very comfortable but creaking frame when turning.

What a fabulous stay! The accommodation was beautiful, with the bonus of a private patio with views over vineyards and the Rhine. The location was perfect for us; we had a very pretty and interesting walk from the accommodation to the abbey, onwards to the Niederwald monument and Assmannshausen. Perhaps the most exceptional feature of Weingut Magdalenenhof was the dining terrace; stunningly appointed with comfortable furniture and those fantastic views. The food and wine were delicious; in fact we bought a couple of boxes of wine while we were there. I would highly recommend Weingut Magdalenenhof.

Very nice location high up over Rudesheim in the middle of vineyards. Room with balcony with fantastic view. Nice breakfast which could be enjoyed both inside and outside. Possibility to taste and buy wine from own production. Nice and helpful personnel. Lars-Olof & Gunnel -
