Beautiful hotel, lovely room and fantastic staff Nothing

Lovely, clean and comfortable rooms. Food was lovely. Could have had a spa or swimming pool but I understand they are in the process of adding this.

Beautiful property very clean and lots of space in large rooms and grounds Nothing apart from we met friends there for the weekend as we both live 2 hours away, we loved it so much so thought we will book for next year same weekend… it was £200 more for the same stay so unfortunately we will have to go elsewhere as that is extortionate

Great staff. Lovely service and facilities Piped music everywhere spoilt it. Staff did turn down on request but hit with it as soon as you entered. Strange for such a lovely place and out of keeping. Pop music or lift music!!!

Amazing facility - we loved our stay here. Food was delicious. Lovely bar and outdoor seating. We sat by the stream with our afternoon drink watching the swans

Beautiful recently renovated hotel conveniently located near the M6. Spacious double room with ensuite. Fabulous grounds. Great food (dinner & breakfast) Staff were very friendly but there were not enough of them in the bar & restaurant on Monday evening. Slow service

Air conditioning in 40 plus degree heat was a huge bonus! Decor and buildings very impressive. Proximity to major routes and wildlife walks Staff incredibly courteous but under staffed and under supervised/supported no obvious management anywhere except just as we were leaving. Menu lovely but delivery incredibly slow and a tiny slither of sea bass was destroyed by overcooking and buffet breakfast items not re plenished and noted that tables are not cleared after use so you are eating surrounded by dirty cluttered tables ( again maybe staff shortages or just a weird policy)

External grounds were very nice and well maintained Air conditioning in the bedroom which was our main reason for choosing the hotel due to the heatwave The Stable king bedroom was very small and dark with far too much furniture. The quality of breakfast was very poor and we waited 40 minutes to get a cooked breakfast despite us informing the member of staff who finally came to take our order that we were attending a funeral and did not want to be late.

Exceptional

Smooth check in with polite and attentive staff who helped with our bags and showed us to our room. The hotel exterior and interior decor were beautiful. We particularly enjoyed the garden and sat for hours in one of the deckchairs enjoying the outside bar. We really felt at home and the atmosphere is so relaxed and welcoming. The aircon in the room was also appreciated Nothing we had a wonderful stay and will be returning very soon

Very nicely presented. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. It’s been refurbished well Unfortunately, the evening meal at Scotts restaurant was poor. My wife had fish and chips which were over cooked. I had a burger which was dry. The hotel was very busy, so we got the sense the kitchen was slightly overwhelmed. Everything else about our stay was good including the breakfast.
