The landlord and landlady were very friendly, approachable and helpful! The views and walk straight down to the canalside was lovely, as was the amazing breakfast. Thank you! :) The door to our room couldn't be locked because it was broken, so felt a little unsafe leaving valuables in the room, but we were told about this so it was ok, we just took our valuables with us :)

The property did not match the photographs online or the description. After arrival we made the decision not to stay there.

Staff were pleasant I arrived after the advertised check in time to find my room still being cleaned, the furniture is outdated (polite way of putting it), very basic.

Supper was simple and plentiful. The room was tired and so cold. The sink was blocked and the shower screen broken. The whole place needs cleaning from the sticky tables upwards.

Extremely friendly staff, good pub banter Can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

the breakfast was great friendliness of the staff was brilliant enjoyed our stay very much. the choice of beverage was very varied with great quality beers nothing

Nothing Shabby, small and too expensive for what it was. Door locks were hanging off and the room was small. Sheets were old etc. I'm judging this against a travel lodge or premier in as low and clean. This was not. It needs tidying up. If it was £50 then fine as a stop over for a tradie but not for anyone else.

Rooms smell of urine. Bed sheets not clean. Shower defective.

Location was good for what I needed

The rooms were filthy, the headboard had greasy head stains, the long cushion on bed smelt of urine, it had cobwebs and dust, the bathroom mirror coming off the wall, urine stained mat around the toilet, towels bleached stains and a tatty floor bathmat, kettle stained not usual able, carpet stained, breakfast not available till 10am, came down in morning at 9.50am and the pub was still closed and the tables covered in plates of food from previous night, when they should have cleaned before finishing ! People arguing outside room, the manager was nice enough I think they just don’t have a clue!

No breakfast!

Staff were very Friendly and the accommodation was clean and comfortable Over price, very basic facilities, shower didn’t work properly and only supplied hand towels. Couldn’t get any internet connection
-
Not to much to be honest. advertised with breakfast but it doesn't do one. Food was OK but not as stated on the menu. A little run down for the price with no extras or food included
-
No breakfast but the landlord was brilliant, very friendly, helpful and it was a pleasure to stay there. He and his locals made me very welcome. Loved it. Thank you Nothing, it was perfect for my needs
-
No breakfast on offer. Instead leave premises by the fire door and fire escape The very small ensuite room was appalling. No bin, kettle did not work, small tv on one channel only and not able to change. No hot water in shower for several minutes. Sink shelf falling off. Noisy above pub until 11.45pm. Abrasive landlord.
