Good location for our needs. Lovely quiet quaint village. Staff friendly and pool was nice and welcoming after a hot day. Food was lovely in the restaurant too. No air conditioning but big window to open. Breakfast states it was 8am but people in breakfast room earlier. Would have helped us as we needed to leave earlier. Also we could smell toast but couldn’t see anywhere to make it?

Person at the reception desk was very unhelful and rude. I requested simple explenation where should I park my car, bacuse whole hotel parking plot is full. His answer was very unfriendly. Room that I received was probably not ventilated for a really long period, when I came in it simly stinked. Customer service and attitutde to hotel's guasts.

friendly and helpful staff. rooms were clean and spacious. locations is good - in the beautiful little town. worth for an evening walk around. good food in the restaurant. for sensitive sleepers, ask for rooms rather down the corridor than next to the elevator. Footsteps and conversations of passers-by can be heard very well behind closed doors.

Nice and clean rural hotel with tasty breakfast. Nice swimming pool. The room was spacious, bigger than we expected. The tea and coffee station on the floor was broken during all 3 days of our stay without any warning on it. Still, hotel staff provided hot water for the tea from the restaurant when asked. There was no information on both booking site and the letter from the hotel on necessity to book sauna upfront.

The staff are very friendly and the hotel itself is extremely comfortable. Food is delicious, plus a great breakfast. Great size swimming pool and sauna. Lovely location with plenty of walks. And conveniently situated for public bus transport to nearby towns. I plan to return for longer next time. The wall mounted TV, if it was on a bracket to allow it to be angled to view the whole TV screen from bed.

The room was spacious as advertised but no lace curtain though there was a rail. So we asked at reception but it seems to be a standard. Since on the ground floor no privacy and the thick curtain makes it pitch dark, they moved us to a different room. It was a kind arrangement. The new room we moved, water didn't drain in the shower so we asked a device to fix it. We borrowed it to fix but we did wonder whether this was what customers are supposed to do. A bit tired of dealing with some issues in the rooms.

All was lovely: especially the staff, the swimmingpool and the bistro Vrouwe Swedera. Not enough place to put your toiletthings in bathroom.

Super hotel with friendly staff. Great location close to Dwingelderveld National Park. Excellent dinner in the hotel restaurant. If I had to find one small point, the cost of €17,50 for bringing our dog was more than we pay in other hotels, but he was made very welcome.
