We arrived after a long day when our bikes broke down on the way, and the staff truly took care of us. They helped us find places to repair the bikes, gave us a ride to dinner, and in the morning made sure we could leave early to our next destination with a packed, generous breakfast. They did everything possible for us! I’ve honestly never seen people make such an effort for their guests. We highly recommend this place.

Nice bath, nice water. The shuttle from the train station was nice. There’s good local food if you don’t mind walking a few minutes. I stayed there three nights and walked to dinner at a different place each night. The way the drain was set up in the bathroom the water had to travel all the way across the bathroom, making the floor stay wet and slippery. I had to put many towels down in order to create a safe path to the toilet at night.

Having a private hot spring bath in the room after a very long day of cycling was amazing. The hotel manager also gave us a lift to/from a night market for dinner, which was very kind

Great communication from host. Lovely hot spring bath which was perfect after a long cycle. Good value. Convenience store next door. No elevator also the room had a bit of mold on the ceiling. Not terrible, just needs a bit of treatment.

Great little highlands hotel. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Hot springs water in our bathroom and a view looking out into dense bushland was quite exotic. Fixtures on the bath were a bit rough.. but they still worked well.

Lovely hot spring hotel with great view of the mountain and very friendly staff. Convenience store right next door. Located a little far from the town centre if you’re not driving, but that is the same as all the hot spring hotels.

Friendly and helpful staff Collection shuttle from station was appreciated Peaceful location Rooms and bathrooms were not in a good state of repair. AC unit was leaking, lots of peeling paint, bath tub was pulling away from the wall. Insects were coming through the gap in the seal. Hot spring was underwhelming. The bath tubs are plastic and do not easily fit more than one person. Even after following advice and running water for several minutes, it never got properly hot. A public spring we visited nearby had much hotter water. Mountain view room mainly had a view of the roof covering the garden. No lamp or reading light in the room, only full ceiling light or darkness.

It was peaceful and the owners very welcoming. A big thank you to Mia who showed us to the night market and helped us find a transport solution when trains were cancelled after the earthquake.

Loved the hospitality of the people and their help with our bikes. Even more, loved that there was a beautiful hot spring bath in our room! With great views of the mountains in the morning. The breakfast they provided in the morning was also very delicious and a satisfying way to continue our cycle journey the next day! Very friendly and would stay again. There was nothing we didn't like!

Everything was great. From the scenic location, the big rooms and lovely hot spring water baths I took to the attentive service, help, and recommendations provided by Mia on locally renowned cuisine and places for lunch.

It is a very quiet and peaceful place. Transport can be arranged if you want to dine further from the accommodation. There are stray dogs.. Try not to walk alone at night.
