The room was spacious We booked it after a long sleeper bus ride It’s very close to the bus station (10 min walk) Smelled like mold and there was hot water in the shower for five minutes only.

Black mold all throughout the rooms. Asked if we could cancel our reservation for the 2nd night and get a refund and they said no. They showed us other rooms which were arguably worse with darker mold. It is a health hazard and they should seriously address the issue. We ended up leaving anyway and booking somewhere else for our 2nd night, and did not get any money back. Terrible.

It's too noisy downstairs. Early morning the loud music, starts at 7 am. All the time people come upstairs to go to the pub+the light in the corridor enters the room which has a not efficient curtain. The elevator beep is annoying as well when you're trying to fall asleep... Woke me up a couple of times as the loud music downstairs also did it. The mattress is old, it's uncomfortable.

The room we were given was completely uninhabitable, with black mould covering the bathroom and even spreading into the bedroom. The smell of damp and mould was overwhelming, making it clear that this wasn’t just a minor issue—it was a serious health hazard. We were shown two other rooms, but they were just as bad. It was shocking that the hotel considered these conditions acceptable for guests. Even the corridors reeked of mould, confirming that the problem runs throughout the entire building. We couldn’t risk our health by staying, so we had no choice but to leave immediately.

Short distance from the main town, so it’s not too noisy at night. Clean bedding with no stains. Soap and shampoo provided. Laundry service. Room has AC and hot water.

Great value for money! I paid £8 for a single room, which was surprisingly large for a hostel. I only used it as a step over to have somewhere to store my language and have a shower in the evening, before getting a night bus, so I can’t comment on the quality of the bed, but it looked nice. I arrived at 10am and the room was already ready, fantastic! To be fair, it wasn’t much different to a £40/night 4*hotel in Hanoi ?
