The hotel was really nice. The staff were welcoming and warm and their English was pretty good. The shower was really nice. The water pressure was good and there was warm water for a long shower. The room was really clean and comfortable. We checked in at 12 AM and the staff waited for us until we came to welcome us and give us the keys to the room which was really nice. The room cleaning includes only towel change and empty the trash cans and that’s it. No change of sheets or more paper towels and the room is pretty dark, the lamps are small so there is not much light at night.

Sapa Dragon is a family run place in a great part of town. The family is incredibly nice and very accommodating. We stayed here for a night & ended up rebooking with them again when we passed through a second time. We couldn't have asked for better.

The owner gave me an upgrade to a room with nice view! Staff members were very kind. The Owner alliwed me to take a break when I was waiting for a bus which was being delayed. Thanks a lot! The breakfast was not satisfied even though it was free.

We liked the comfort of the room, the location, the balcony. The AC was very loud and there was a construction site right next to the hotel. Barely one English speaker in the staff. It was hard to communicate.

what Breakfast! Breakfast area was dark and dingy and no breakfast was to be seen, when we questioned this they eventually provided us with 2 fried to death eggs on a slice of plain bread. Absolutely horrible . Almost everything. Felt like we were in an abandoned building. No staff or anyone around.

Staff was great. They went above and beyond to make things comfortable. Location was great, very close to restaurants and spas. It is a budget hotel. Unfortunately the room did smell a lot during our stay, especially the bathroom. We also found a cockroach in the room.

We didn’t enjoy our stay at this hotel. The location is fine, you can visit sapa and there are some nice restaurants nearby. We don’t recommend this hotel because the rooms were not clean at all. We had a first room where we found some cockroaches, we had some difficulties to explain this to the reception because they don’t speak English at all… we managed to have another room, which was again with some cockroach in the bedroom and the bathroom. We changed for a 3rd room which was a bit cleaner. On top of this the wifi doesn’t work, there was no hot water for shower, and some customers were noisy in the hotel. Quite surprised to see super positive comments from previous years, as it wasn’t our impression during our stay there.

The owners were very friendly and welcoming. They greeted us with a smile as did the entire extended family. Was a 2 minute walk from the station. Kids were quite noisy.
