The building itself and some of the amenities like bathroom are outdated and in need of some upgrades. The breakfast is good, but could be improved with more options and bigger portions.

The location, the price and staff are friendly I can hear the noise coming from other rooms.

The location of the hotel is near tourist spots The manager was rude. The breakfast was advertised as buffet but they served plated breakfast only. The ac in the rooms were automatically switch off in the middle of the night.

No windows is always weird for Europeans but it was not a surprise - visible on the pictures

I would stay here again when visiting Sapa and recommend it to others. It was a good experience and exceptional value for money. It is well located on the edge of the tourist area halfway between the bus arrival station and the church. A few steps brings you to the lake edge. A flat short walk along the lake brings you to the centre of town and then a few more blocks to the funicular that will take you to the cable car to Fansipan. Cat Cat village is also walkable - going there is downhill a couple of km. Hubby had pneumonia and a sore foot so we walked to Cat Cat village and got a grab back to keep it all very manageable. The hosts are exceptional. They are used to accommodating early bus arrivals and early bus departures. They will offer early check in where possible and charged us a very small upgrade fee when the only room available for an early check in was an upgraded larger one which we gladly accepted. The hosts greet you whenever they see you and ensure your needs are being meet. They provided information about tourist sites and will arrange a driver for more distant locations ( sadly hubby was not up to trekking this trip). They arranged our bus from Sapa to Hanoi with pick up at the hotel at a competitive price. Breakfast was included and had 6 options (eggs, pancakes, pho etc). It was plentiful and delicious). Coffee was good. Although the room was slightly tired, it was very clean and well maintained as was the reception and foyer area that also contained the breakfast tables. The hotel has a lift and the host assisted with luggage. Whilst this is not a brand new Ritz, overall I rate this stay exceptional value for a 3 Star experience with exceptional host who work tirelessly and would encourage others to consider. I am sure that you would not be disappointed. Nothing. It was exceptional value for a 3 star Vietnam experience with lovely hosts.

⭐ 0/5 – Not What Was Advertised The pictures on Booking must be from another century ?✨ because the room I got looked like it was furnished in the 1920s… maybe earlier ?. The wardrobe was broken. The furniture looked extremely old. Nothing matched the photos. And then there was the sewage smell ?? — strong, constant, and impossible to ignore. I told the staff about it. He asked, “Where is the smell?” I took him to the room. He said there was no smell. Interesting. I opened the window, closed the door, turned on the fan, left for a few hours… came back. Same smell. I couldn’t even stay one hour, even though I was charged for the first night. I had to leave and find another hotel. The funny part? I found a 4-star hotel for almost the same price ⭐⭐⭐⭐ — and surprisingly, it didn’t come with a sewage fragrance included. Would not recommend.

Great owner! You can rent a scooter from him for a good price and he gave me some nice pointers on what to visit on a scooter around Sapa.

The space is big and have free meal during our stay The place not sound proof so you could hear the people outside the room. During our stay the road is under construction that is why every time we leave we have cement on our shoes. Hopefully next time the road is all good.

They are very accommodating and the location of the hotel is really great and near the center. The rooms are spacious with a just price. Breakfast is amazing too!

Helpful staff. Liue is very kind and easy to approach. He made our stay really comfortable and enjoyed our three days stay in Sapa! If ever I go back again to do some trekking I will def stay there again.

Excellent location between the bus terminal and main part of town, super close to a real supermarket and handfuls of restaurants. Owner went above-and-beyond to make us feel welcomed and held onto extra bags while we did a 3-day trek. One room was overlooking the street, I enjoyed the views but light sleepers might want earplugs or ask for one in the back (which was silent!)

Value

The host is phenomenal. He is very knowledgeable. Set everything up for you. The rooms were nice and clean. Bed was a little hard, but that’s normal. The breakfast in the morning was a great value always made fresh. The only small complaint I have is the beds are a little harder than I am not used to, but I would definitely recommend this place. The value is unbelievable.

The staffs were very friendly specially the manager who often asked how are we and try his best to help us.

Great location between bus terminal/market and church, not far from lake. More 'local' things like supermarket and super chill foot massage / haircut places nearby. Super kind host that kept luggage while I did a 3-day trek. Neglected to find extra blanket first night but found it second night ;) my own fault
