I loved the entire vibe of the property, the gardens, my room. Very lush and serene It would have been perfect if the hot water lasted for more than 5 minutes, especially since Sapa can get pretty cold at night.

We liked the location, slightly away (but not too far) from the busy downtown. And we loved the garden setting. Our room had a great view. Bee, our host, was very friendly and helpful. We were a bit uncomfortable with the “wet bath” - the shower was right in the middle of the bathroom, not in a stall, no partitions. It all worked well, but having taken a shower, the entire bathroom floor is wet. Perhaps provide a mop or squeegee so that the water can be cleaned up.

We had some mice problem in the room. Cleaning could’ve been better (back of TV, TV cord are very dusty)

Very nice place worth the price and not too far from the city center. Rooms pretty well maintained. Has a small garden which is quite relaxing to walk around or sit. Host was friendly and easy to communicate and helped us with the things we needed. If staying with elders, you, may need a taxi to go around,, otherwise walking to the city center is easy. Wifi data was not available at the rooms where we stayed, ( very weak)

A wonderful place with a charming garden and clean, beautifully designed rooms that are very comfortable. The staff are warm, pleasant, and extremely helpful with anything you need. The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s a bit away from the town center, and since Sapa is built on hills, getting there on foot can be challenging for older guests—transport is usually needed.

The bed was very firm but still fairly comfortable

-Room: Very spacious, clean, well-kept, and beautiful view of their garden. -Breakfast: They provided a simple breakfast every morning. We had 2 choices to choose from between eggs and toast, and noodles and eggs. I tried both options during my stay here and both were good. - Staff: I mostly interacted with a younger lady during my stay here. She was always available and answered my questions. Due to the unpredictable weather, I had to change my schedule a bit during my stay here, including the tours I booked through this resort. When I discussed with the staff member, that I would happily pay the full cost of the tour, but would need to opt out 1 day so that I could go see other tourist spots, she was understanding and accommodated my schedule, which I really appreciated. -Communication: There was some miscommunication between the owners. I ended up communicating with 2 people from this resort prior to arriving. I was told by host A that they would pick me up from the bus station to their hotel. Then, I was told by host B that I would need to find my own transportation to their resort. Due to the mixed messages, I messaged back to confirm. In the end, I had to find my own transportation, which was fine. However, the mixed messages was initially a little confusing. -Location: I did not anticipate that this resort was 15 minutes uphill from the main city center. At first I was a little overwhelmed. However, eventually I got used to it and thought of it as good daily exercise. You can always find a "grab" scooter or car to go back to the resort (roughly VND 50,000). I wanted to save money where I could, and 15 minutes of walking uphill eventually became routine for me. It did become a hassle to go back and forth, so I tried to finish all my business in the city center before heading back.

Sanz was extremely nice and went out of her way to make us feel great! The garden was so beautiful and it was so pleasant to be among trees and flowers after a long day. Also it was very quiet and relaxing to be there. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Breakfast is poor . Location good

First of all, let's talk about the price without breakfast. It's not really worthy. When the lady counted money, my original was 1.673.000 vnd, she gave herself to ask for 1675.000 vnd. It was super super small, but the way she made that makes me feel bad service. She even did not make any excuse about the very small over charge. The services weren't my expectation. The lady welcomed us not have any actions to help us with even small bag for my son going up stairs in the very early morning when we kept the room since the night before. In the room, they lacked of the shower gel, in fact, that bottle on the wall was broken but they did not fixed it. Breakfast, lunch, dinner - nothing available, we had to eat out all the time, not very ideal for walking distance. We spent almost time out, just stay 1 short night for 2 nights booking. So, not enough time to call this place for "retreat". But feel just okay.

My friend and I had a great stay at Sapa garden retreat. The room was really cozy, clean, private and the garden was beautiful. It was about a 12 minute walk uphill from town, but easily accessible. Sáng at reception was especially helpful and spoke great English. She made our stay smooth and seamless. Would recommend for anyone looking to be close to Sapa town, but still in a relaxing, quiet space.
