My friends and I visited Sapa for the first time on April 28–29, 2025. We arrived early in the morning by sleeper bus from Hanoi and went straight to the hotel, Nomadtrails Boutique Hotel. Although we arrived before check-in and the reception wasn't open yet, we were able to rest in the spacious and comfortable lobby. The hotel also provides clean bathrooms with showers, which was a big plus after a long bus ride. We were especially grateful for the kindness of Ms. Dua, one of the hotel staff. She kindly gave each of us a towel so we could shower before check-in. On our departure day, she once again helped us by allowing us to shower before catching another sleeper bus. Her hospitality truly stood out and made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel’s location is excellent, right in the center of Sapa, close to everything, and very convenient for exploring the town. For the price, it's definitely worth it! If I return to Sapa, I would absolutely love to stay at Nomadtrails again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sapa! Honestly, there is nothing I didn’t like about this hotel. If I return to Sapa, I would absolutely stay at Nomadtrails again. Highly recommended!

We arrived at 6am and the check-in staff offered an early check-in. The beds comes with heated blankets which is needed especially during the frosty times in SAPA. A storage room was provided to keep our luggage while we trekked. Our allocated room's hot water did not work as well, it went from hot to cold. The aircon to use for heating did not work very well.

Receptionist was very kind and helpful, Location is nearby to centre, Facilities were okay... It's a bit noisy with the other room mates, some problems with the hot water, It gets too hot and too cold all of the sudden

The location is at the center walking distance going to sun plaza and other cafes and restaurants. The staff were not very welcoming and did not help us with our luggage. You have to carry your luggage yourself to the hotel entrance which you need to go down by stairs if you have a heavy luggage good luck! A bit noisy in the morning especially the staff who cleans the room always shouting. If you want your room to be cleaned, you always need to remind the receptionist to inform the cleaning staff. We had a bad experience: we told the receptionist early in the morning to have our room cleaned, but when we returned after lunch, the room was still not cleaned, and the beddings hadn’t been changed. We had to go out again and ask them to clean our room.

The hotel is located under the highway, so you have to take your suitcase down the stairs. When you go home, you are assisted by female staff.

The staff were all really lovely, the bathroom in our room was quirky too and a good location closed to the centre of Sapa. The bedroom was abit outdated, needed repainting as there was mould on the ceiling. you could also smell a damp smell on the bedding and around the room, I think it was because mould was growing in the room. it was noisy at night time, you could hear everything through the walls, people chatting, walking around the hotel, a dog barking in the hotel. Unfortunately the noodle bar across the road has an opening song that comes on at 6:30am in the morning which is ridiculously loud and will definitely wake you up no matter which part of the hotel you stay in, this has upset a few customers I believe from reading reviews, it’s a shame really.
