Great location, spacious room and friendly staff

High service oriented team. Helped and explained everything and was available to assist me whenever I needed. Got room upgrade upon my arrival, received express laundry service, and even got the opportunity to take a shower after touring the villages, even though I already checked out in the morning and only planned to leave my luggage at the reception. Highly recommended.

I can’t speak more highly of Mr Kim and his staff. They made us feel very welcome. We took the night train from Hanoi and arrived well before check in, however, Mr Kim gave us advanced notice that we would be welcome to shower and freshen up when we arrived. As it happened, rooms were available when we arrived so we were able to check in immediately. Also, as the hotel was not full, we were given a complimentary upgraded room. Unfortunately this room had a leak, possibly relating to the recent heavy rain but we were immediately moved to another upgraded room. Similarly, at check out we were heading back to Hanoi on the night train but the team allowed us to keep the room until 7pm so we could shower. These are excellent touches and made us feel valued. The location is great to avoid the crowds but close enough it’s no more than 5 minutes walk from the action.

Upon arrival, Mr. Kim upgraded our room to the executive room, but because the lock on the balcony was broken, we were upgraded again to the best executive room with the large balcony facing the entire lake. Being able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view every day was a real pleasure. The hotel's location is very convenient, with many restaurants nearby, and Sun Plaza is only a ten-minute walk away. The property was nice, breakfast was included, they spoke English, room was fairly clean and they were accommodating. They let me keep my room until the bus picked me up; which was later in the day and well after check out. View from the room was beautiful!

The location was perfect. Walking distance <15 min to most things we had in Sapa. The staff were superb— they helped give some advice and even offered to let us stay in our room to 10pm on check out day when they found out that we weren’t leaving town until 10pm. Breakfast was excellent too — they had a decent buffet and then also things made to order, from omelette to pancake to pho. The fridge in our room was broken but they let us use the one in the dining area we were right next to, and they’re working on it! The WiFi in my room was spotty though it was OK for my husband. (Room 202)

Our time at Sapa Queen Mountain House was truly wonderful. Mr Kim and his staff were so kind and helpful with everything, especially in arranging a guided trek through the Black Hmong and Red Dzao villages. They had a good breakfast setup and fast laundry service. The location was also really nice because it was a 10-15 minute walk to restaurants, but tucked away enough that it wasn't super loud at night. The room was comfortable, a decent size, and had an amazing view of the lake!

We had a wonderful stay at Sapa Mountain Queen House. Our rooms were spacious and very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The location was also very convenient and close to town without being too noisy. Also breakfast was fantastic.

Great view - we had a balcony as well - from the top floor. Mr. Kim is quite helpful along with Linh who speaks excellent English, is an absolute gem and I enjoyed seeing. Perfect location, quiet. Actually all employees, housecleaning, kitchen, are superb and friendly. Good breakfast with tea (not coffee). We enjoyed all the day trips, hikes, Sapa overall and appreciated the charm of this hotel. Not a complaint, just when we arrived we were told our credit card that we always use on Booking wasn’t functioning and to please go to an ATM and pay with cash-we manually paid with the credit card. Not sure what happened there. At night the little crawly things sometimes liked to visit our bathroom…just being honest and no big deal. A very nice week-long stay.

Thank you for a lovely stay! Only downside was a very loud radio early morning from the street, but this is not connected to the hotel.
