Hotel Schörhof is located right in the hiking area and in winter next to the cross-country ski run in the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang ski area north of Saalfelden. The ski elevators of the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang Ski Area are 7.5 mi away, while Zell am See is 11 mi away. The use of the spa area with indoor pool and fitness room is included in the price. Beauty treatments and massages are available. Hotel Schörhof’s restaurant serves regional cuisine with specialties from its own farm. In winter a heated ski and ski boot storage room and cross-country skis for guests’ use are available. In summer the Schörhof offers a solar-heated outdoor pool, a sun terrace, and a big playground with a petting zoo. Bicycles and mountain bikes are available for guests’ use. The Maria Alm Ski Area and the Golfclub Urslautal are both within a 15-minute drive of the Schörhof.

The breakfast was excellent, good variety of things on offer. We paid for half board but the meal was very disappointing. The starter was quite good but the vegetarian main course was very poor- jacket potato with virtually raw vegetables - peppers and courgettes, should have been roasted. The dessert was a panna cotta but it was absolutely solid. More effort needed with the vegetarian choice on the menu.

We spent our weddingnight there, we told them upfront that its gonna be our weddingnight, i even got a message back that they are glad its our weddingnight, i was disappointed that there was nothing prepared in the room, not even a card. When we arrived and asked if they could make an exception and prolong the spa for half an hour to 8.30 pm as my husband never experienced the joy of a sauna. That was declined. The pool time was officially 10 p.m. all of a sudden at 9.30 pm everything went dark and turned off. That was interesting. The only 2 people who congratulated us were the two lovely persons in that tiny kitchen who made the breakfast unforgettably good! Its less about me personally but my husband who heard so many stories of creative hotelmanagements who prepared smth personal and when we arrived there was not even a small printed note, that shadowed our day a little bit and we wouldnt come back, because of it. Many hotels are good and clean and have high standarts. Its the small detail nowadays that makes a stays unforgettably good and recommended. What we liked was the ambience and cleanliness and the lovely staff at breakfast who made me my eggs. The comfort and quality of bed room and spa! If it was for a normal stay i highly recommend the hotel, if you plan something for your spouse i highly recommend it if you do all the work and dont expect anything not even a handshake. If you have heard the awesome stories how hotels greet wedding night guests - i recommend you chose an other place. Ps: the room could have been a little bit more pre-heated just a tiny bit!

This hotel is a great place for a ski holiday: great food, clean comfy rooms, great spa area with swimming pool, spa's, sauna's, ... The personnel is incredibly friendly, in particular the young girl cooking the eggs for you in the morning and Joseff the waiter, who loves his job! The owner hosts a Kegelbahn tournament on Thursday evenings in a great super sumpa manner, making sure both children and adults enjoy themselves (and he himself at the same time!!!). Also watching soccer on a large screen with other hotel guests made a difference! Thanks!

Lots of facilities even for bad weather, such as indoor pool, sauna, billiard or bowling. Very delicious meals. EV car charger was a good 11kW. The hotel is situated next to a busy road, rooma facing the back are better -if you want to sit on the terace.

The hotel is very clean, the staff is very friendly, the spa is dated but in excellent condition, the food is exceptional. There’s a considerable chlorine smell in the whole main building, not irritating but a nuisance. Not in the room. The waiter was too friendly for my Viennese standards, but adds a local flair?

Hotel Schorhof was perfect in every way, the staff were so friendly we felt completely at home as soon as we arrived. The food both at breakfast and dinner was exquisite, breakfast was plentiful and dinner was so tasty. Felt like a treat every day! They were also so accomodating when we had friends to visit for dinner on evening. Cannot wait to come back already. Nothing it was perfect
