Smart design failure. The check-in procedure was very chaotic, as the automatic check-in didn't work. Smart access to room via phone not practical, a room card would be much better. The room with its seamless wooden walls and low ceiling feels very much claustrophobic. The AC didn't work. The extremely tiny window for getting some fresh air into the room was absolutely not enough. Access to bed only from one side, which means the person sleeping at the window must climb over the other person. Breakfast had very limited options. Scrambled (=steamed) eggs was another unbelievable failure. The gym looks nice at first sight, until you realize that all people walking on the street can see inside, so there is no privacy. I get that some people may like this hipster style hotel, but I will definitely not stay here again. Fortunately, we stayed here only for one night.

Simple, yet efficient rooms, with a calming alpine feel. The restaurant really under delivered. The taste of the food on the menu was very disappointing for all members of our party.

-We stayed 4 nights and I didn’t realize that cleaning would be an additional fee. I assumed our room would be cleaned (towels exchanged, bed made, etc) at least once during our stay. -We expected that there would be glasses for drinking water, but there were none. This is a pretty basic expectation from guests that’s low cost for the hotel to provide. -No kettle in the room to make your own tea after a cold day on the slopes.

room a bit too small, especially for families, and minimalistic but it was expected based on other travelers' feedback; it was very hot in our room and we couldn't adjust the temperature; the location a bit far from the slopes: you can catch the bus but it is often very crowded; automatic entrance doors would make a huge difference when leaving or entering the hotel with the ski equipment; finally the hotel advertised a cinema room which is in fact only available for events

-ROOM I hesitated booking because of some negative reviews and would like to point out that 4 bed family room is with CURTAINS! This seems to have been main issue reported by other travellers.Room minimalistic, comfortable matress, pillow and duvet. Not sure why some complained about that. -COMMON AREA Cosy and inviting, we arrived a little earlier than 16 for the check in and had enjoyed staying there. -STAFF Staff super friendly & helpful at the restaurant at our arrival, during the dinner and breakfast. -KEYS Ski Room, Front door, your room - all opens with a code which is practical. You can enter ski room before your check-in time and leave your bags while you ski. Super nice Ski Room with plenty of space to dry your gear. You can access it from outside and from inside. Best ski room i have ever seen. -RESTAURANT/BAR It was a real cold weekend during our stay so we were happy to not go outside and spent the whole evening at the hotel, we had food at the restaurant, went to the hotel's bar. There was snowboard film screening and DJ playing some hip-hop, quite some people but without being overcrowded. There is also a more quiet area at the bar where you can talk. Felt like a place to be, had a good time! -ACCESSIBILITY Hotel is close to the bus stop /parking so this is very handy as you normally arrive with few bags and skis. For skiing you can walk or take the saas fee bus to the lift which is free of charge. Check-in Probably some people will find check-in difficult or even annoying. It's like using coop auto-checkout. You wonder why you have to do the job of the receptionist. You can either Check-in on the phone or on the ipad in the hotel. There is always someone at the restaurant if you have questions. For people who are familiar with smartphones it's not an issue at all but somehow my swisscom network didin't work well on the ground floor. Again, not really an issue for us but might be for some. Room Key Card You get a code to your phone which you need to remember, or you need to take out your phone and unlock door electronically. Takes time getting used to it. But not a problem for us. Old School travellers might not like it but there are plently traditional (but ageing) hotels in saas fee. Music from the Bar You can hear music in the corridors but not in our room ( we were 3rd floor). I guess some older more traditional travellers might not like the party mood so really depends what you are looking for. We loved this.

Food in the restaurant both for dinner and breakfast could be much improved. The location is very handy for arrival and departure and the room was clean, comfortable and had great storage.

-very new, it opened in February 2025, everything is in pristine condition -the gym, the bar and breakfast area are really nice -you have to pay extra for everything (transport, …)

  • Engine customer Mar 2025

... 2 hours before check in, you are told the room is no longer available because of the reason no water...

The location was fantastic - very close to the bus terminal, very close to shops, restaurants and the Hannig cable car. The whole hotel was very clean and all the staff were friendly and efficient and always responded quickly on WhatsApp. We liked the hotel's minimalist approach for the most part, although... ...in places it was perhaps too minimal :) Lighting - the lights in the room were good, but they were also extremely bright with no middleground. We felt the room needed a simple lamp or at least one light near the bathroom that wasn't as bright. This could be used to provide gentle light late at night or overnight. Glasses - there were no glasses in the room, so nothing to drink from. The solution was simple as we asked for some glasses from the restaurant but it was surprising that they weren't already in the room, one per person. Rubbish bin - we appreciate that the rooms are only cleaned if you pay extra, but the very small bin in the bathroom soon filled up. Even if you are not cleaning the room, a larger bin, or somewhere to take rubbish from the room and perhaps some spare bin bags would be helpful.

Location, clean and food, ot much else No curtains/blinds on window. People across the road could see you. Slept terrible as enternal light sources shinning in at night. Just a see through sun shade. Complained and tried to escalate. Complete ignored, service for issues is directly. Stay elsewhere.
