The property was very nice. When we arrived the driver mentioned that the roads were dangerous and he had to drive slowly. We did not think anything of it. Then a couple hours after we arrived apparently the only road to arrive at the hotel closed due to weather with no date or time as to when it would reopen. The hotel did not notify us even though they knew that my daughter and her boyfriend would be arriving the following day. The next day came and my daughter and her boyfriend flew to Geneva, and took a train (had a very long travel day) to arrive at the nearest town before driving to the property only to find out that the road was closed. We had to find them a place to stay in a small, depressing town called Visp, they had to spend the night in a hostel, with hopes that the road would reopen the following day which they told us would open at 8 am. The following morning the road did not reopen. They had to then rebook completely a new train ticket and flight ticket back home as we did not know when the road would really reopen. My husband, son, and I who were already at the hotel were stuck and again we were never notified that there would be any issues when they already knew that there would be. When the road reopened, we left early (left a full day early) because we were fearful that we would be stuck again and decided to reunite with my daughter and her boyfriend. We had to rebook our train and flight as well. At the end we lost money, had an anxious few days, and a family trip that never happened after traveling from USA. The least they could do is refund my daughter’s room which was never used or our last night which was also never used. Disastrous!

The staff were amazing! So friendly and welcoming and helpful in every way. I don’t think the word ‘no’ is in their vocabulary! They went out of their way to curate every detail of our experience. The hotel is beautifully designed and the rooms are so luxurious. The food in the restaurant is exceptional, we ate there 3 times! And we are vegetarian but there were plenty of options. It was my birthday and my husband asked for flowers in the room and a chocolate cake on the day, they actually made the cake in house and it was probably one of the best chocolate cakes I’ve ever had! They also make their own bread and pasta in house. The ski locker is a great addition as you don’t have to lug any equipment around. Saas Fee is a beautiful place, there’s plenty to do for skiers and non skiers alike. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. We love spa hotels and this one really stands out. Nothing, every detail was perfect!

Excellent service and fantastic facilities. Great food.

No air conditioning, but this is a thing in all small alpine Swiss towns

Amazing overall experience: - Very clean everywhere and in great condition. It is clear the hotel is very well maintained - Very quite and chill atmosphere. The fact that the village is quiet also helped, however inside the hotel it was also aways quiet and relaxing - Service is great, everyone is very polite and helpful. Everyone spoke English - All facilities, including Spa area, library, fun area etc. - Breakfast was very tasty and the staff is very attentive Nothing that we did not actually like, just 2 notes: - there were no tea cups in the library - the king bed is created from 2 twin beds, and if you select the twin beds, the beds are a little narrow. However none of this really bothered us, just putting it as an FYI

Exceptional in every way. The staff goes above and beyond, from the minute you book the place. The food at the restaurant was great especially for breakfast. Nothing to not like beautiful village , super property, and the staff can’t get better.

Staff, location, spa facilities, comfort all excellent. Had a problem one evening with dinner taking a long, long time, but apart from that, everything was great.

The facility was amazing, well kept and clean at a great location Service was excellent from the moment of booking till departure: - every member of the staff was super lovely and helpful, they all speak several languages perfectly - we felt super pampered - loved the transportation service from the parking to the hotel and to the slopes, including the personal locker - food was excellent, mini bar was free for non-alcoholic beverages and beer, Nespresso machine in the room - the fitness was also well equipped, spacious and tranquil - wellness facilities were also super premium, relaxing and comfortable - towel replacement, detox water, fruits and nuts offered all day nothing- we loved every single moment and planning to come back every year

The Capra is a 5*-boutique hotel that provides its guests a very personalized service. The staff (incl. the General Manager) is very attentive und personable. The facilities are very tasteful, elegant and suited to a mountain chalet atmosphere. Not a major issue, but I should note that the hotel is spread across three buildings connected by underground walkways. Our room was not in the same building as the reception or breakfast area. This requires a bit of walking around.
