Nothing We arrived at the hotel shortly after 3:00 PM on August 21st, which corresponds to your official check-in time. Our plan was to rest briefly after exploring Sacramento before continuing our afternoon sightseeing. Upon arrival, the receptionist informed us that our room was not ready and promised to call us as soon as cleaning was completed, estimated to take about an hour. She suggested we visit a nearby shop to pass the time. After waiting over 1.5 hours and receiving no call, we returned to the front desk, only to find that the room was still not available. In total, we were unable to access our room until approximately 6:00 PM—three hours past the designated check-in time. Because we were staying for only one night and had a tight schedule to hit the road the next morning, this three-hour delay completely ruined our afternoon and evening plans. By the time we were settled, it was already night. When we expressed our frustration to the receptionist on duty, we pointed out that just as the hotel charges an additional fee ($35) for late check-out, guests should be compensated when check-in is severely delayed through no fault of their own. The staff member assured us he would pass the matter on to the morning shift. However, when we checked out the next morning, the reception staff had no record or knowledge of the issue. Given that our single-night stay was significantly shortened due to the hotel's lack of preparation, we kindly request a partial refund/discount for our stay as compensation for the inconvenience caused. I look forward to hearing from you soon regarding a resolution. Kind regards, Bogdan Kwiaton, bogdan.kwiaton@gmail.com

Standard hotel. Nothing special. No breakfast in the morning was kind of a bummer. The desk wasn’t very polite either . Don’t like the pet fee

A few things could get better. A few things can improve like having more tissue paper more toilet paper and more actual Towels. I didn't now how to use the stove eighter. And for that price you should give breakfast.

The problems started at check-in with a surprise $20 "utility fee" that wasn't disclosed when I booked two months earlier. The front desk blamed Expedia and said it was a Motel 6 fee, but Motel 6 Customer Service confirmed it was a fee charged by this property. Ironically, the hotel refunded it at checkout, proving they could have resolved it from the beginning. During my 10-day stay I found a worn-out bed, stained floors, broken windows, trash around the property, only warm shower water, a broken bathroom light replaced with a lamp, unreliable door locks, and no housekeeping. The worst part came on my last night when my key card stopped working. The office was closed before its listed closing time of 10 p.m., no one answered the after-hours phone, and another guest gave up waiting to check in. Thankfully, employees Kate and Darius went above and beyond to help despite being put in an impossible situation by management. They were the only reason my stay wasn't even worse. This review isn't about the Kate and Darius. They were excellent. It's about franchise owners who have allowed this property to deteriorate. I DO NOT recommend staying here and won't stay at this or any Motel 6 again.

Noisy at night. Limited staff hours. Rooms had kitchenettes but no eating or cooking utensils.
