AC Hotel St. Augustine Downtown

The room was very clean.

Our room was stuffy and damp. The AC was not working properly in the room.

This is new hotel, very clean, super comfortable bed. Nice dip in the pool with overlooking sunset. Great food too

Great place, but you have to pay to park, which was a surprise when we checked in.

Hotel was clean and inviting with a very cool modern look. The bar and pool areas were fantastic to hang out by. The staff was warm and very friendly during our stay.

Super clean. Easy parking onsite and nice walk to the historic district and restaurants. Nice front desk staff. Great shower too! Thank you.

Unfortunately didn't get a chance to use pool or gym. Quiet location within walking distance of town centre. Trolley passes hotel stopping by distillery next door - get tickets in advance to be able to board at this stop Pricey charge for parking at hotel - which IMO should be included in hotel stay (the norm in UK).

Great hotel..a lot of construction around it but that did not interfere with the stay!

The staff was great and the facility was clean. The rooms were also very clean and well equipped. Parking is $25 a night. I don't understand why charge for parking when you are already paying to stay there. No gate, no security so not sure why charge.

The outside was very deceptive. It actually made us a little nervous and we thought we chose the wrong place to stay. We were pleasantly surprised once we came inside. The property was very updated with a chic vibe. The room we chose had a unique corner view glass window. It was a little smaller than we were used to, but it was only the two of us so we made it work. The room was also very close to the elevator which was a plus, but being right next to the ice machine was not the best choice and if I would've known I would have requested a different room. There were kids constantly playing in the area around the ice machine.

Entered room, noticed several pieces of debris all over the floor, fingerprints and debris on the furniture, and in the bathroom piece of toilet paper on floor and almost an empty toilet paper roll. Went to front desk, which they did agree to switch my family and I to another room. Entered new room, noticed crumbs around the bed, finger prints and debris on furniture. It was clear the cleaner did not fully clean the rooms. We were so grossed out with the cleanliness of the rooms, we only stated in the room for a few hours and left. Definitely will not stay at this hotel again.

This was my anniversary trip to Saint Augustine. The property was very nice downstairs in the lobby and the outside perimeter. I was not happy with the cleanliness of the room when we got there and looked in the shower. It was dirty. Also, there was trouble with the AC unit. It would get extremely cold at times and then it would get very hot. There was never a happy medium. It was also very disappointing to hear the construction going on outside every single morning at 7 AM,So that was a little annoying. This is the first time staying at a Marriott property in a long time and I can definitely say I was not totally impressed. I hope if it were to ever repeat itself that it will be a better experience.

Walking distance to highlights of downtown St Augustine. Make time for the distillery next door and Fish Camp is a must. The tour trolley picks up next door at Distillery as well. Pool and Gym were a plus. Walk down to any of the nearby cafes for great coffee.

Willing to stay again

Loved that it was new. Smelled Amazing...Shouldn't have to pay for $22 a night parking if you got a room and staying at the hotel. Staff was friendly. Hotel was Modern and Clean.

Great location, clean rooms and helpful staff. Parking onsite is expensive, food is expensive, and there is a lot of construction in the surrounding area
