Room was way too basic, with a manor, our expectations were a little different, but served the purpose of cutting the journey back home. The property do need a professional deep clean.

Had character No lift to 2nd floor bedroom and no gluten free breakfastdespite a request made at booking and being told to have fruit and yoghurt. Difficult to find but that might be my sat nav’s fault?

It looks lovely from the outside. Garden was very run down Our room was very small with old(not antique)musty furniture. The bathroom was really old and totally uninviting. As for the mid- matched towels - see photo!

The lady host served a lovely breakfast and was very charming, Property was clean. The property was very hard to find even with a decent sat nav. Property back in the 1970s and needs refurbishment, although the shower worked well.

The hotel building is very attractive with a nice garden. Downstairs communal room was comfortable bright and airy with interesting artefacts. Very nice breakfast. The room was dark and in need of modernisation. Poor quality bedding and fixtures and fittings. Ensuite had some hair left in the shower tray and was small and cramped. There were other rooms at the front of the property which would be much brighter. We were offerd a twin but it only had a bath ensuite. However, there were other rooms which we were not offered and there were only 2 other guests.

The property was light, airy and very clean and the breakfast was superb. Hosts were very pleasant and helpful. A good location for a one night stay before morning sailing from St Malo. Restaurants a short drive away. Was a little difficult to find (despite satnav) and a sign on the entrance gates would be helpful.

Lovely location and friendly lady owner - very traditional French hotel. Beautiful garden. Could do with a house name at the gate. No toiletries or refreshments provided. Decor could do with modernising but it’s very traditional French.
