Perfectly situated hotel with good Continental breakfast. Room was comfortable enough to spend a few days. Walking distance to the port, beach and restaurants. The hotel personal was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. Load seagulls might keep you up at night, but it certainly a part of charming experience of Saint Malo!

    Location. Rooms were cool!

Fantastic unique apartment with charm within the walls There is a bar across the street where people party until four am so sleeping with open windows was a little loud. We found this to be a minor nuisance and easily overcome by the charm of the place.

Extremely loud until 5:30 am- physical altercations and yelling outside from nightclub down the street. Since there’s no AC we struggled with whether to open or close windows- decided being warm was better than listening to the screaming but could still hear it with window closed.

The staff were exceptional throughout our stay, friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality really made a difference and added to the overall experience. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the citadel. It is only a short walk from the restaurants, shops, and lively streets, yet the hotel remains remarkably quiet and peaceful, allowing for a very relaxing stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

The staff hung up on me 2x when I called after hours for clarification on where the lock box was so we could get into the room after hours. Not every location will allow after our check-in so we were really grateful for that. But being hung up on was quite rude

Location inside the city walls, comfortable bed. Night noise from the facility across the street. Very high bath tub, absence of conditioner, body lotion. Very limited breakfast.

View from room in older building. Elevator! Great breakfast. Very clear video instructions on how to access key for arrival after hours.

It was a nice hotel and the staff were helpful When we arrived the girl on the front desk was a little stand offish and acted as though we didn't have a reservation.

Needed better railing on steps, which were a bit hard to manage with luggage.

The room was ok, but given that the hotel is classed as 3 stars, I would have expected more. The bathroom floor was finished with a rather simpled linolium, which had some corners already unglued, and the soundproofing of the room was poor. When the upstairs guests where moving at night/morning, we could hear all their steps very loudly. For lightsleepers, this can be an issue. Wifi was slow at night, potentially due to too many guests connecting simultaneously. Usually this is not a problem for me because my phone plan has unlimited data in France, but inside the hotel the 5g signal was dim, so a good quality wifi would have helped. Moreover, because the TV signal was likely dependent on the internet connection, the TV would constantly loose signal and take sometime 2-3min to return. On the eve of my arrival, I contacted the hotel to ask if there were still parking spots available, to which they said yes. I said I would then like to have that spot reserved, and asked for informarion about where I should go with the car. The answer was that I should go directly to the main address and that upon checkin I would be given the instructions for that. It seemed to me that from this answer my parking spot was obviously confirmed. When I arrived, the person who did my checkin said that no parking spot was confirmed on my reservation, and when I showed the conversation he rolled his eyes and said that it was not a confirmation, but informed in a slightly rude tone that I "was lucky that the spot was still free". The parking is a closed garage, which is good, but the entry is an incredibly narrow gate. Not necessarily their fault, but it is an information to have in mind if people have a big car. We had a rental that was upgraded to an SUV, and I managed to get through the gate with only 2cm left on each side of the car. Having my dad out of the car to help me manouver was crucial.
