Hotel Du Port

Perfectly located and fantastic staff. The hotel is in an original building but all updated with great showers and bathrooms and air conditioning. Lovely breakfast and wonderful staff from housekeeping and reception. Perfect stay. All was great.

This cute little hotel has everything you need for a few days in Saint Martin. It is located right on the port with beautiful views on the front or lovely little patios on the back. The windows are all double glazed so there is no noise of the seagulls unless you want to hear and then sleep with your window open for a breezy sea air. Tastefully decorated and very clean. The staff were the best bet though. Lovely women who worked cleaning the rooms, serving breakfast and at the reception. Everyone was so helpful and pleasant this made this typical French little hotel one of the best parts of our stay. An incredible value for money. All was great.

Location on the port. The suite was great for a family. And the AC was wonderful when it got hot. A rare find. Simple but good hotel. The smell of fish Ont he terrace since it’s above the restaurants.

Convenient location close to everything, and a nice indoor market right next door. Friendly and helpful staff. Small amenity like bottle water and a coffee maker would have been great.

Mid in town

The location of this hotel couldn't be better. Right on the harbour side with plenty of restaurants and activity on the doorstep. Even though we were harbourside with wonderful views, we didn't find it noisy. We were welcomed at reception and the room was very good. We didn't expect to be harbourside but it was a total bonus that we were. We travel with 2 dogs, both of which were welcomed and the hotel provided a bowl and small beds, which was very kind. A note to say how comfortable the bed and linen was. I was surprised that the reception was just a door alongside a restaurant and the hotel essentially sits above the restaurants, but on reflection it really didn't matter. We were welcomed and the room was very good. We didn't expect to be harbourside but it was a total bonus that we were.

We visited out of season. The position overlooking the marina was excellent, the staff were incredibly friendly and very attentive. The room was slightly on the small side.

Hôtel du Port is excellently situated to enjoy very pleasant setting of Saint Martin-de-Re. The room was very clean and comfortable with plenty of storage space, and we had a good view of the harbour. Our dog was made most welcome with a bed and bowl placed ready in the room before our arrival. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and spoke English if required. We enjoyed the breakfast, particularly the home made yoghurt, and a cooked option was offered if required. This hotel was perfect for our 2 night stay and we would strongly recommend it. In March parking was not an issue because the car park around the corner was free but in summer there would be a charge, although there is a year-round free car park a little further away.

Fabulous location overlooking the harbour. Very warm welcome, dog friendly and super breakfast ? Great to have a kettle in the room Would have loved a breakfast tea please Van delivery at 6 am outside with radio blaring woke me but compensated by the amazing view
