Amazing Staff, Beautiful Boutique Hotel with lots of charm

  • Engine customer May 2026

    Very friendly and helpful staff.

The only thing I could possibly think of as an area for improvement might be managing bugs a bit around the pool area. Without bug spray, the bugs often descended on us during swim time. But other than that minor piece of feedback (and acknowledging that staff provided bug spray on request), our stay was flawless.

Loved this hotel! The room was spacious, very clean, had plenty of closet space, and we were so impressed with the quality of the towels and robes! The private outdoor area is a lovely bonus. Staff is wonderful and eager to please. Food is delicious and beautifully presented. Enjoyed the pool area. Nothing!

    Friendly Location

  • Engine customer Sep 2025

Quaint, inviting, well-maintained, and convenient If anything, there were too many mosquitoes to enjoy the private back porch. But this is a very minor concern.

the staff was amazing, super calm and tranquil away from the chaos of st tropez. Also, other cute little restaurants and hotels walking distance. Bedrooms were dark, bed wasn’t super comfortable and lots of bugs in the room. It’s nice to be around nature but there needs to be a solution during mosquito season

Our rooms were wonderful. Beautiful garden terrace off our room which was private and lovely. So happy that there was a great bath tub in bathroom. Magnificent pool area/lounge/breakfast area. Staff were absolutely AMAZING!!! So friendly and kind. Breakfast was very basic but perfect; croissants and other breads/pastries, and delicious coffee/orange juice. All served in a beautiful setting! A true gem of a hotel! The location was just a little too far out of town but during low season that would not be a problem. However, the traffic to get into town during July was insane and we often had to get out of our uber and start walking. The wait time for an uber became longer as our week progressed and more tourists obviously arrived in town. Having a hotel shuttle during July/August would be amazing, although it would not resolve the traffic issues, obviously! However, we did like the fact that the location was away from the craziness of all of the bars/restaurants, noisy tourists

The staff is exceptional. A hidden gem in Saint Tropez, this charming and tastefully decorated hotel offers comfort and a prime location, while remaining secluded from the crowds.

The staff was super nice and always helpful. The food (dinner) was delicious. The hotel is small, so if you want to relax, it's a good idea to find out or families with children will be there at the same time. There was no chance to relax by the pool or even use it at all because the children were in it from morning to evening. The constant shouting and screaming didn't allow for peace. there were a lot of ants on the terrace that were entering the room. Although breakfast was supposed to be included in the price, it turned out to be extra charged, which I consider to be a scam. The breakfast included two rolls and mini croissants, which can't really be called a proper breakfast. For everything else, you had to pay extra, e.g., for an omelette or scrambled eggs. I don't understand why there's a picture of the beach and pier on the hotel’s website, as the hotel itself doesn't have access to the beach. Behind the hotel, there's a small port, but you can't get into the water because of the seaweed washed ashore.

The suite was amazing, the other rooms good

Excellent location, extremely friendly and thoughtful staff, incredible food, great place to visit as a family or a couple. Overall a property and experience that exceeded our expectations. We hope to return to in the near future. Only thing to improve upon is comfort of mattress, otherwise very nice sheets and pillows.

Amazing staff, particularly Eugene (apologies if this is incorrectly spelled!), a comfortable too , a very convenient location, (if you have access to a car) and an extremely tasty hotel evening menu. It was also very good value for money when taking the area into account, and in comparison to the neighbouring hotel Sezz (which was absolutely abominable; do not waste your money on the ‘fine dining’ menu there. I’d rather have eaten a Mac Donald’s). The included breakfast was basic; fruit bread and croissant. I’d advise going out, or ordering from the à la cart breakfast menu.

Beautiful small boutique hotel. 10 minute walk to small local beach. Easy to get an Uber into the town. Good size room and private enclosed courtyard. Slight downside for us was that the owners aren’t fully aware of what a Vegan eats. So our breakfast was limited to bread & jam.

Exceptionally kind and attentive staff. Le Pre de la Mer is a boutique hotel a 5 minute drive from the centre of St Tropez, which can easily be reached by car, bus, bike, or a longer walk. The hotel is intimate and stunning, with a glamorous pool/bar area with relaxing charm. I feel as if the staff could not do enough for us, whilst also respecting our privacy. A truly memorable stay in a beautiful location. Perhaps a little picky, however when the booking states the breakfast is included, this is limited to a croissant/pain au chocolat/bread and tea/coffee. Should you wish to have anything cooked, this comes at a surprising expense (for example €10 for two boiled eggs). We were happy enough with this, however if you want a cooked breakfast/cereal/yoghurts/fruits, expect to pay more for this.

Lovely breakfast options Nothing to do with hotel but last section of walk from town has no pavement which meant a precarious journey for the last few steps.
