The building itself and the rooms are more than fine. This hotel is located quite close to the old town, which is accessible after a 10 minutes walk. There is underground parking. The pool is smaller than my bathtub. The minibar in the room was empty, while restaurant, bar and room service don't work in the afternoon or at night. If you want/need something during this time, the only way to get it is to go out to the shops or gas stations. Unacceptable for a five star hotel!

Great location, confortable room with all the necessary toiletries, they provided storage for our luggage hours before and after check in and check out. The AC was running smoothly and could be turned off if necessary. There is a small swimming pool which does a great job in the summer. The system to get pool towels is cumbersome. You need to go to the reception, pay a deposit and take care of a small ticket to get your deposit back.

Location 13 min walk from train station and 8 min walk to plaza mayor Clean and comfortable room Housekeeping staff went above and beyond Internet went out intermittently

Wow, beautiful place. Staff is totally professional and on top of things (I finally learned how to say quinientos.) Wonderful location. Great value! The breakfast was awesome and they have great sound system but the music could certainly be more upbeat…I’m really not into Ave Maria at breakfast!

Very elegant beautiful lobby and surroundings Towels super old and stiff Shower was broken water coming everywhere Pretty but not functional Toilet paper behind you extremely difficult to reach Parking hard to drive in although they offered to park for you

Proximity to train station and plaza mayor
-
Great location, within walking distance to Plaza Mayor, excellent service, beautiful facilities, lots of amenities. Great breakfast place next door. We found the beds a little too firm and the pillows a little too flat.
-
The dining area for dinner in the foyer was rather soulless and had no atmosphere
-
Clean, and nice decorative oil painting. No hot water supplies

Service and maintenance can be improved. Noisy.

Beautiful hotel near old town, clean rooms and excellent breakfast.

The location was in town, about 15 minute walk from the main plaza leading into the old city center. It included an underground garage for our car (25 Euro/night). The Breakfast was extra cost, but the buffet was varied and tasty. The room & beds were comfortable and the multi-headed shower was a treat. Insulation from noisy street was good. The underground garage was very tight and tricky to navigate. Not a place for larger cars. Overall, we had a good stay here. Salamanca is a great town to explore. The two historic Cathedrals are only a 20-25 minute walk from this hotel.

Location and staff. It is not a 5 stars but I guess expected for the price. Just thought it would have been more than a 3 stars one. It is an old hotel with noise coming from the WC every time you flush, the heater etc..A 5 starts (or even 4) do not serve you mayonnaise or ketchup in little plastic bags with your meals like in a Mc Donald, the pillows should be better etc...but the staff is nice so is the location and the place itself, in a art deco style has a certain old "caché" Must have been a nice hotel 50-70 years ago. You get what you pay for and I guess it is decent for what they charge but don t expect too much.

What a gem! This hotel is a throwback of glam without breaking your card. Beautifully kept and hope it stays that way! Un lugar maravilloso! Stature, spotless, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast! Loved the old style comfort in the hallways, rooms, and let me add the posh shower/tub! Most of all, very close to town with ample cafes and restaurants!

STart with the staff. I made a mistake and arrived a day before scheduled. No problem, the receptionist immediately said. We often see such errors. He changed my date without penalty. The hotel itself is well modernized, with a lot of charm - and well located, just outside the historic medieval center. Salamanca is great and this hotel is great, too. The charges for parking, EUR17, were a bit high and the garage is tight.

The hotel was old world in style and decor. The rooms and bathrooms were beautiful, although a bit dated. The staff was exceptionally helpful and the underground parking garage with indoor access to the hotel was a plus, as we were traveling by car. The location was excellent and a convenient and safe walk to the Plaza Mayor and other sites. The price paid through Booking.com was very reasonable for the value received. Breakfast had ample choices in a relaxed and comfortable dining room.

Really amazing Staff. Helpful and supporting in each question. We had dinner at the rooftop and the employees were very attentive. In addition they always had a nice word for the children. It is a great hotel, if I should say something to improve it might be some furniture could be changed, but I really would go back as this gives the hotel the right charisma.
