The hotel was nice, especially the lounge area which are in the ruins of an old church (blashepmy? :). No parking. We parked in a park across the bridge...it worked out Nice view from the room.

Great location, and a bathtub.

The location of the hotel is excellent and walking distance to everywhere in the old part of town. The outside of the hotel is amazing as it incorporates the ruins of an old church and the coffee area in the ruins is fabulous. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. Perfect for a 2 night stay. No kettle or cups in the room. No bottles of water.

Great hotel for a night and walk the town. Great location great service.
-
Location near the main sights, and beautiful view of the cathedral and the old city walls from our room window. The remains of an old church is used as part of the hotel yard sitting area. Lack of facilities for making coffee and tea in the room.

Location, efficient check-in, clean room, helpful staff No amenities such as complimentary bottles of water, cups in the bathroom, drinking glasses, or cork screw (guests should not have to go downstairs to the reception desk to ask for these basic items); very plain, dull decor; the bed was just ok comfort-wise

Found two hairs in two different plates during the breakfast. Room is a bit noise and the pillow is to high ( for me at least)

The hotel is "modern", built on the ruins of the former Church of San Polo, which gives it a unique historical charm. The bathroom was clean, modern, and fully equipped with everything needed. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing a pleasant and restful environment. The location was excellent, right at the entrance of the historic center, making it ideal for exploring the city. The room offered a beautiful view of the Cathedral, adding an extra touch to the overall experience. While the hotel offered many of the positives I expected, my final rating reflects a few key issues that significantly affected the quality of my stay: The air conditioning only emitted hot air, even when set to cooling mode. Salamanca can get quite warm on sunny days, and unfortunately the room became uncomfortably hot. We tried leaving the windows open for a while, but eventually had to close them to sleep. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable and too firm, making it difficult to get proper rest. The noise level was the most disruptive aspect. On multiple occasions, noise from other guests was clearly audible, and twice I was abruptly woken up by what sounded like someone entering our room. I believe it was another guest in a neighboring room opening windows — possibly due to the heat as well — but the noise carried directly into our space and was quite disturbing. On a trip where rest is essential for exploring and enjoying the destination, we had a very restless night with multiple disruptions, which sadly impacted the overall experience. To be fair, I still recommend Hotel San Polo for its many qualities and good value for money. However, these setbacks — particularly related to comfort and rest — were disappointing and, in my view, essential factors in a hotel stay.

Location The view from our room was the ceiling of a gallery

Very good

The Hotel was clean, warm, spacious room. It was in a very good location, only 5 minutes to the Cathedral, Convent and University. No refreshment facilities in the room, no water, no coffee making. Very poor as no opportunity to have any drink at all. Breakfast was not looked after, with many items missing, left to go stale/hard

It is extremelly well located, you can go anywhere by foot within 10/20 minutes. The room was really spacy and had a good bathroom, a TV, a safe and a closet. Pretty standard hotel room. We went there directly from Sortelha, Portugal by motorcycle and right when I got there I dropped my bike standing really close to a car that was apparently from a employee, that employee got out and seem ready to blame me for any scratches that they had in their car and was a bit rude until they realized we where staying there. Also, the WI-FI didn't work. For motorcycle travellers: They don't have a place for you to leave your motorcycle, apparently the police will quickly get ahead of you if you leave it in front of the hotel (at least, that's what the hotel staff told me) so I left my motorcycle in the first block after the main avenue, right behing the hotel, I parked it side by side with to local's scooters, it seems like a secure city but I would be careful, also there was a lot of police so be careful where you park your motorcycle.
