The location was good and the facility was also fine. The parking facility was not at all convenient also there was a funny smell in the room forcing me to keep the window open but then there was the outside noise

Sentral location and grosery store across the street, 10 minutes from train station. The chairs are not good for old people.

The apartment was located in a very good area. We could get there quickly from the railway station. The heating in the room was a big plus. The walls are dirty and there is MOULD behind the wardrobe and in the bathroom. VERY POOR CLEANING SERVICES - dust on the bedside lamp, on the lamp above the bed, on the bedside table there was a packet of gum left on the bedside table from other holidaymakers, which indicates that the bedside tables have not even been wiped. No other toilet paper was put out on the cleaning day, even though it was almost finished. Why must toilet paper be limited? We wanted to make tea in the kettle and found it had never been cleaned as it started to smell of cabbage when we boiled water in it. Breakfast is a joke, don't rely on it. You can hear loud noise from upstairs and when upstairs neighbours flush the water, it sounds like you have a waterfall in the wall. The owner didn't even ask me if everything was ok after we left.

It is very clean accommodation in a great location. Easy to get a bus to any place. The contact with the owner is exceptional. We got a lot of useful information and recommendations. No problem with anything and a slef checking is great when you are not sure of the hour of your arrival. Not much to add here. Maybe, as a tea lover, a water cattle would be a nice thing to have in the room except boiling the water in the pot. But this is a minor thing

La Casa di Alice is a charming little B&B in the centre of Salerno only five minutes' walk from the main shopping street (or High Street, as we Brits would say), and only another five minutes' walk on from there to the seafront. My double room was extremely cosy. The bathroom is very modern. The kitchenette has pans, crockery and cutlery alongside a hob, coffee machine and kettle; there is a very useful supermarket directly opposite the property for stocking up on supplies for it. The property provides free fast and reliable wifi. There is also a gratefully received air conditioning unit to combat the heat of a Salerno September's night. What was most impressive was the provision of an assortment of different breads, cakes, yoghurts, milk, jams and Nutella for a do it yourself breakfast. That was very much appreciated! Though I did not personally meet any of the staff (you check yourself in & out), the contact from the owner via the messaging facility on Booking.com was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had in a B&B. I will certainly look to book it again should I ever return to Salerno. One issue that could be addressed: the shower bracket could do with fixing as it does not hold the shower head in place. It keeps twisting forward under the pressure of the water, which means you have to hold the shower head in your hand to shower properly.
