Nothing was good about this accommodation. We are a couple who travel a lot and this accommodation is the worst accommodation we have stayed in so far. After we had made the reservation, we called the owner to ensure that the check-in time was ok after 21:00. She mentioned that we should call her when we arrived outside the accommodation so that she would show us how to get the keys because she will not be there. When we arrived outside the accommodation, we called her on the phone numbers we were given but no answer. We called her several times but no answer. Booking.com tried to call her several times but could not reach her. So we stood outside the accommodation and didn't know what to do late at night. In the meantime, a guy who usually collects garbage came and let us into the building but still not the accommodation. He tried to take us to another bnb but we refused because we felt unsafe. Finally, I demanded from Booking.com that they find another accommodation for us because neither we or they could reach the owner. At the same time, when Booking.com found another accommodation for us, the owner answered us. She blamed talking to Booking.com about another girl for checking in. When we were going to the gate to get the keys to the accommodation which are in the key box, we saw the girl who was going to check in. She was so scared because she could not reach the owner either and was standing outside the gate by herself late at night. We received compensation from the owner and it was an Italian breakfast (a pastry and a drink) as well as not paying city tax. But this does not make up for the hours of stress, uncertainty and fear we experienced this late evening.

10 for location as it is close to everything. Minutes away from the Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the main pedestrian shopping street, which is full of great bars and restaurants. Minutes away from the ferry and the train station. If you are traveling by train the Diemme Studio is a great location as it is les than a 15 minute easy walk from the station, however, if like us you are driving it is a challenge. There is no parking at the property and the Via Dei Principati is an extremely busy one-way street with no street parking, if you stop to unload your luggage you will be very unpopular from the honking drivers that you block. We could not find any local street parking. After going crazy driving around, our host suggested we park across the street in a parking garage, but you must know it is there on the left side of the street just before you reach number 47. Be aware it cost us 72 euros to park for 4 nights. Getting into the property is also a challenge as you must get the keys from a lock box out on the street. Finding the right door is also a challenge, so contact the host who is very nice, before you arrive for all the confusing details. Rooms are not great, our bed took up the entire room, but as I said it is a 10 for location. Information on parking and entering the property before we arrived
