The location was very nice. The room was a decent size and had all of the essentials. This place could be very nice if they just cleaned it up. It was very dirty with the shower head covered in mold and it seemed someone spilled something on the bathroom floor that was not cleaned up before I stayed there. Everything about it was dirty. Someone just needs to spend 1 hour scrubbing the apartment and it could be decent.

In the historical neighborhood. Host was nice and helpful. Squalid and dusty room.

The Host was very nice and helpful. His guidance to the city made it possible to enjoy it more. The room was well equiped and very comfortable stay.

Last minute booking as our other booking fell through. Great value room with comfy bed & good shower. It wasn't the same room as in the photos but we were stuck & it was fine. Great location near to the seafront, near to ferry. Lots of shops, food & cafes close by. Not as described on booking.com, no balcony as it had said.

Ludovico's place is great! The location is amazing. Ludovico is very accommodating and does everything he can to make your stay perfect. He even gave me his personal cell phone number. Breakfast was very good with fresh fruit, croissants, biscuits, juices, coffee/tea. On a tiny alley just a 1 minute walk from the main street in the Old Town it is very quiet yet convenient to everything. Ludovico's place is in an old historic building. It is clean and has everything you will need but is not fancy. I had the best night's sleep of my trip here.

We never found the property. Although we had talked to a very nice man before we got there…….the directions to the parking …..we ended up in a street that we weren’t even supposed to be on…..and going around in circles. There was absolutely no parking. So after an hour of searching we gave up and decided to head back home. Very frustrating. I guess we just blew that money away.

Perfect location, easy access to port, bus station, train station. Close to decent restaurants. Spacious and comfortable room, Most comfortable bathroom I have ever seen at a hotel of this category. Sufficient equipment. Attentive owner who provided us necessary support whenever we needed All fine.

The location is in the historical centre of Salerno and close to the main amenities. Ludovico is very welcoming and has plenty of advice for you to enjoy your stay in Salerno.

Terrific breakfast, especially the coffee. Very charming B&B in a great location, the host Ludovico is really nice and accommodating.

Very good locatiion, very friendly host and cosy room Maybe the room would be even more beautiful if there was a pull-out sofa instead of the second bed, but at the same time it is definitely more comfortable to sleep on.

Great spot, quiet but quite close to both the waterfront and a lot of nice restaurants. Great proximity to the ferry port! The host was lovely and helpful. We had no complaints on anything - all was good!

The location: In the heart of the city central and close to the beach. The ferry terminal was also close by so we were able to just walk to the terminal in the morning to catch ferries to visit other towns in the area. The b&b owner: He was very friendly and helpful in providing tips to visit different areas in the Amalfi coast. Safety: The area is super safe. Unlike in many other European cities, I did not feel like I had to constantly watch out for pickpockets here. Food: Many amazing restaurants and bars to explore in the area. Ask the owner for recommendation. We went to his friend’s restaurant Casa Cavour and loved it. Value for money: To stay in Salerno is significantly cheaper than the neighbouring areas such as Sorrento and Positano. Salerno is also less overwhelming in comparison, providing a more local Italian experience than the overcrowding ones with tourist scams. The wifi connection did not work in the room where we stayed in, and our own data signal was very weak in that particular spot.

The apartment is located in an ancient house right in the historic centre of Salerno. Historical monuments, shops, cafes and restaurants are nearby, just a few steps from the house. The owner was expecting us, explained everything to us and advised us where to go in the city. In the morning he prepared us a good breakfast with typical Italian pastries and good coffee. We liked it very much and we will definitely come back sometime.

Excellent location, right in the centre of the city, near the main commercial street. Excellent breakfast. Nice owner. It wasn't clear from the website that the parking is actually a paid parking somewhere in the vicinity (I checked also the listing on Agoda, where "Car park" is listed among the facilities available at the hotel). One should thus count with 25 EUR more, which makes the total price a bit too expensive.

The host is very friendly and helpful. Our staying was very pleasant.

Everything was perfect - the host turned out extremely helpful, nice and friendly. This place is cosy and nice to stay in (within walking distance of all ameniticies the city has to offer). I am sure I will come back there one day

The breakfast was available, but we were in a rush to see the city, so we didn't eat anything. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was out of this world: beautiful in a blue color, comfortable, and spacious. I wish I had more time in Salerno just for the bathroom. Ludovico was incredibly helpful. He received us before the check-in time and explained every detail that we asked for. He called a taxi for us and he even went downstairs to show us where we should wait for the cab. The beach is a few blocks away, and it's beautiful. I also wish to be able to spend more time there. This was a super well-situated room in the middle of the old city. Nothing. Everything was excellent!
