Carmen and her beautiful apartment gave us one of the most memorable travel experiences our family has ever had. We have stayed in many B&Bs over the years, but this was in a category of its own. It is difficult to put into words how special our stay felt. From the moment we arrived, Carmen welcomed us with a warmth that made us feel like cherished guests rather than visitors. Her kindness, generosity, and attention to every little detail were extraordinary. Whether it was helping our family with luggage or making sure we had everything we needed, she anticipated needs before we even had to ask. You can feel how much love and care she pours into both her home and her guests' experience. The breakfast alone deserves its own review. Every morning felt like a celebration of southern Italy, with fresh, delicious products and the most wonderful lemons from Amalfi. It was one of those simple pleasures that becomes a lasting memory. We stayed in the loft apartment, and it completely stole our hearts. The space is much larger than the photos can convey, and every corner tells a story. The hand-decorated tiles, the beautiful wooden beams, the charming staircase, and the soaring ceilings create an atmosphere that is both elegant and deeply inviting. It felt as though we were living inside a piece of Italian history while enjoying every modern comfort. What surprised us most was Salerno itself. We came expecting a convenient base for exploring the Amalfi Coast, but we fell in love with the city. Its elegance, authenticity, and relaxed rhythm captivated us. We spent our days wandering through the Centro Storico, strolling along the seafront, enjoying Villa Comunale, and simply soaking in a side of Italy that feels genuine and unhurried. By the end of our stay, we were genuinely sad to leave. Some places give you wonderful memories; this place gives you a feeling that stays with you long after you return home. That we stayed only one night :(((

Excellent location right by the beautiful Salerno port, beautiful room and full kitchen facilities. Carmen gave me a warm welcome on my arrival, and she was very prompt responding to my inquiries via WhatsApp. Breakfast was lovely, esp. her homemade pies and cakes. I would have given the facility and comfort level the highest score had it not been an issue with the shower. I lost hot water in the middle of shampooing my hair, just a few minutes after I started my shower. Carmen kindly let me use her studio shower, and thankfully I didn’t get a cold afterwards. I later learned that this may not be uncommon issue, esp. among older buildings in Italy. So one needs to carefully budget their shower time & hot water usage. Nonetheless, I didn’t experience this at all in Sicily on the same trip.

It’s a cozy set up Too far from anything worth seeing. Dark hallway. Dis not feel safe. The pillowcases smelled stale. I had to change my mind and ask for a refund but was charged a cancellation fee after seeing it. I did not feel comfortable.

Sadly, our room was right over a nightclub and the noisy band kept me awake.

Carmen and the breakfast are lovely.

Great location. Carmen was very helpful also, pleasant and accommodating. The breakfasts were very good with fresh fruit, coffee, home baked goods and eggs etc. We had the loft room. The air conditioner struggles to keep the loft cool. We had outdoor temperatures in the range 26 to 29 degrees C. There was one small a/c unit for the whole place. No a/c in kitchen or bathroom.

The room was beautifully designed and comfortable. Extremely clean. Quiet and felt like home. Wonderful hospitality with amazing home-cooked breakfasts every morning. Friendly and helpful staff. Thank you! The wireless connection was very weak.

We had an incredible stay and the hosts treated us like family! We arrived at midnight and they were so accommodating and the breakfast was absolutely incredible! The apartment was very spacious and had wonderful natural lighting. Would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone and we hope to return soon.

Carmen is such a wonderful, accommodating host. The breakfast was delicious - especially the freshly baked cakes! The recommendations provided were also excellent The room, although spotlessly clean, was a little sparse with mismatching furniture

The room was quite spacious and clean. The host was very responsive and flexible.

Carmen was delightfully and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and home made. The room was very spacious and clean. The furnishing were very minimal and not as grand as the rooms they were located in. The furnishing could have been more put together.

Wow, what a wonderful place, set in the heart of Salerno and managed by the lovely Carmen. The Loft was comfortable and spacious and the breakfast was excellent. Both the train station and the Amalfi Coast/Sorrento ferries are a little further away than expected but still in walking distance.

Accessing the property is confusing. A bit more direction in how to navigate getting in/out would be wonderful :)

Carmen the owner is so keen to please! She answered all my questions before I arrived and when you see inside the B&B it shows her love. Everything to please her guests. Sweets in dishes and something for all nationalities at breakfast! NOT ? just cakes! Fresh scrambled eggs, cheese, meat, nuts, cereal, lots of fruit and tomatoes and of course...Italian cake & coffee!! And as it was Christmas ?? Thank you Carmen! Location is in old town in a 1700 building. My room had huge doors with a mini balcony.Do look up at the ceiling, probably original art.. My ceiling was fabulus and a long way up! Ferry to Almafi along prom 25 mins. Nothing!??
