B&B Il Ritratto

It turned out to be a great choice. The B&B is within a walking distance from both the railway station and the old town. The room is spacious and in excellent condition. Everything is thought over, all problems one usually encounters in hotels (not enough light, not enough hangers for towels, no place to hang the swimsuit etc) - these problems do not exists here, the owner took care of all visitors' needs. Cleanliness is perfect. The owner and the staff are friendly and helpful. It really like staying with friends. Nothing.

We had a wonderful stay at B&B Il Ritratto. The location in Salerno is excellent, making it incredibly easy to get around and explore. The room was modern, very clean, well-appointed, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, which was exactly what we needed after busy days of traveling. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!

The location was fantastic, the room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast pastries were delicious. But the real star of this location is the host, Guido, whose tips and recommendations were invaluable. Unfortunately we were not able to visit the Amalfi coast due to weather, but Guido always had suggestions for backup plans.

The host of the property, Guido, was incredibly helpful. The rooms were exceptionally clean, even by the standards of my fastidious partner. The location was perfectly placed to allow for travel via the ferry and train. The breakfast pastries were delicious and fresh. There were lots of lovely restaurants within a brief walk, and the recommendations made by Guido helped us to make the most of our stay in Salerno. I really cannot recommend this lovely B&B highly enough.

Our Italy trip started in Rome and ended in Milan. We had several stops, one of which Salerno, and of all the stays B&B Il Ritratto in Salerno was the best! We were warmly met by Guido, who told us where we can eat, where to go and what to do. As for the room, it was so clean, spacious and cozy, and the daily cleaning was just as great. The private bathroom was clean and well-designed. The breakfast was also amazing, and as we left very early in the morning, Guido even put together a huge breakfast bag for us. In general, if you are on the Amalfi coast, you would better choose that B&B! Everything was great

Excellent location between the train station, ferries to Amalfi coast, and the old town. Very professionally run, Guido is a mine of information, had good advice, and can forward links to all the sites and good restaurants. Breakfast was a highlight, variety changed daily and fresh from the local bakery. I particularly liked the large shower. it was good to be able to stretch out.

Very central location. Modern, clean and and comfortable room. Extremely helpful while planing and organizing trips. Nothing. Everything was really good.

B&B Il Ritratto is the perfect place to stay in Salerno (or Amalfi coast if you ask us). It is located in the middle of Salerno with access to everything you need within 5-10 minutes of walking. Train station, harbour, old town, Main Street etc. The host is magnificent with knowledge he is eager to share, and is positive, calm and social. The pictures does not justify how it looks, (it is way beyond expectations) and you get options for breakfast from the host, allways fresh from the local store. We stayed for two nights, but we advise you to stay for three or more. We cannot praise Il Ritratto enough for its hospitality. If you want a 5 star hotel feeling in a B&B, look no further. This is a solid 10/10.
