We will definitely remember our stay by the hospitality of the staff and the delicious homemade croissants:) The breakfast is usually sweet (and really tasty), but we requested a savoury option for our second day and it was absolutely no problem for the staff to prepare it for us. We also liked that there was free parking available. What gave our stay extra value, was the communication of the staff with us, which was very kind, polite and also in our native language! This was a first experience for us and it made us feel very welcome and at home. /

The place was lovely, beautifully decorated, and super clean. The room was spacious as well as the bathroom, and the bed and pillow were comfortable. There was also a balcony in the room. They serve sweet breakfast with orange juice, croissants, yogurt, coffee, water and granola. There is a small kitchenette where you can cook very simple meals. The hosts are very kind and hospitable. This B&B is located quite away from the city centre, there is a bus stop nearby, but the traffic is terrible and so the bus frequency. We decided to walk to the city centre and port every time and it’s an enjoyable 20min walk so the location is still fine. The rooms are next to the common area and at 8 am you can hear all the noises and conversations. If you are an early bird, you’ll be fine. However, I love sleeping a little later than that specially when I’m on holiday and that was quite impossible from 8 am. But no big thing, the place was still lovely.

This is an apartment set in the residential area, in a block of private apartments. The rooms are spacious, with aircon and plenty of wardrobe space. It is run by Luana and her sister who are very friendly and helpful. Each morning they arrive with freshly baked croissants and served breakfast, which includes freshly squeezed orange juice. Shower was a bit tight for space. I feel bad about saying this because everything else was perfect, but I need to be honest. It is set quite away from the seafront and walking isn't really and option. There is very little around locally so need to drive everywhere. Although there is loads of free parking around, getting a space is pretty impossible. The first night we were driving around for ages looking for somewhere to park, luckily somebody was leaving after the umpteenth time of driving around. After that, we paid the €5 per day for the private parking in a secure underground garage, but there is only the 1 space. This made things so much relaxing, knowing that we always had a place to park nearby whenever we came back.

Our room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was good. It's a bit out of the way. And although it's free to park on the street but itt can be hard to find a space. It's an uphill walk from the centre of town.

Very clean, quiet. Breakfast was perfect and the host - quite helpful! The possibility to rent a parking nearby was very nice.

We got contacted in advance with information about the location, the parking and how to get in the property. The room was lean, the facilities nice and the breakfast was really nice. The apartment is located about 20 minutes away from the centre of the city. It requires a moderate fitness level to go up the hill. I was ok with it, but my husband wasn’t happy with the required effort to get there.

We liked the apartment very much. Luana was a great host. Breakfast was very nice and fresh. It was great but a bit far from the center. (about 30 min walk), however, I would book again without any doubt.

Street parking is a daily challenge.
