Excellent location near beach and stores. Friendly staff. Toiletries not readily updated and no regular room cleaning done. You have to keep asking for things as you go.

The location was good. The hotel had a parking lot for my car. The towels were clean, but I think they should be renewed.

Hotel Arena Blanca was the cleanest hotel I've ever been in! The staff were almost constantly sweeping and mopping the white marble floors. Our room was spotless, and the whole place appeared newly renovated. The location was great (1 block behind the main street which is usually loud, but the distance made Hotel Arena Blanca pretty quiet), and the room was well appointed. Room had mini split A/C and flatscreen tv. Hotel had unheated pool on a balcony overlooking the street, and elevator. Always felt safe and welcomed, even as two women traveling alone. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Only got 1 roll of toilet paper in the room, and no blankets for bed. A/C could easily make the room cold which wasn't great when there weren't bed blankets or linens besides the sheets already on the bed, so basically turned the A/C off.

The best thing going for this hotel are the wonderful people and the best location. Has a nice pool. Good air-conditioning in the room. Good free wifi. Property is kept clean. The room itself is spacious with one large closet. Several electrical outlets. Right next door is a good supermarket on the right side, and a very convenient restaurant with good breakfast on the left. I had breakfast every day there and it was perfect. And the malecon is only a block away. Walking distance to everything you need. There are a few things that could be improved. 1. Hotel does not have a restaurant or offer breakfast, but does not need to as there are many food places steps away. 2. The room is very basic and a small refrigerator would be nice to put things bought from the supermarket next door or from the vendors around. Especially some cold drinks for the night. 3. ***Rooms are not cleaned unless requested. Wet towels smell moldy in a few hours. 4. Bathroom was not ready with shampoo, and needed more soap and an extra toilet paper (small rolls). Dysfunctional shower head sprays the lukewarm water in all directions. 5. No desk or chair in room. I had to ask for one to do some work on my computer. 6. Brand new TV that never worked. Had all the major Android apps but no account activated to view anything. 7. The bathroom sink area is tiny and the door needs a hook to hang clothes. I cannot understand the logic of a bathrrom door not having a clothes hook with nowhere else to put the clothes in the bathroom when you take them off. 8. Bed is comfortable but pillows too hard. 9. A small lamp in the room would also be nice.

Supermarket down the street. Staff is very friendly. Always felt safe . Bed was comfortable and everything was spotless. Good value !

The location is very close to the melacon, shops, and restaurants if your there to party and live it up. The location because it was extremely noisy throughout the night. (car alarms, sirens, horns, motorbikes fireworks, music, yelling). Outside our window was a seating area where people stayed out late playing music and talking loudly throughout the night. The walls in this hotel are paper thin because you hear everyone and everything. This was our least favorite town to stay after traveling around Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands. Extremely crowded and unbelievably loud.

Location near the malecon and beaches. Staff was very kind. No restaurant in the property. Hotel is ok just to sleep. I think it was overpriced for what it offers.

It was great. It is now my "go-to" hotel for emergencies stays. The staff is so friendly. I liked everything. There was nothing negative about my experience.

Location is great. It's one block behind the main beach street so you don't have to deal with all the noise of the beach. the parking garage is easy to get in and out of. The room was very clean, everything worked, and the bed was comfortable.

There was no breakfast. The only thing we didnt realize was no elevator but many stairs. No big deal tho. The other thing is a chair to watch tv from would be good.
