Extremely well-placed for eateries, and additional bars - we did try their bar but we prefer craft or real ales so, for us, the drinks choice was limited (not a problem though as we were there to see more of the area!). Their Sunday carvery was super, and the staff were very helpful, polite, and welcoming. The room was huge with two tub chairs to sit in to watch TV - not that we were there to stay in the room long but lovely to have a different option than just having the bed to sit on! (NB a small table to put your drinks on would have been perfect ?). The decor in the room, and en-suite were starting to look a little tired - only cosmetic though, the room was clean and tidy so suited us just fine.

Rachel and her partner were extremely accommodating hosts. They allocated me an early check in and provided items needed for my evening meal. Rachel was really friendly and helpful. My room was lovely and spacious, the bed was very comfy and smelt lovely of fabric conditioner, the bathroom was modern and very clean.

I really loved our stay here. The rooms were really big and very comfortable. The pub downstairs was lovely. I saw people make a comment about the outside staircase to get in when the pub was closed, it was really easy to find and use. Would recommend!

Unfortunately nothing. Too many things to list, but our room was clean and fresh all be it extremely small for a double. Kitchen closed at 17.30 when the board said 20.00 so we went elsewhere. No breakfast Sunday mornings all for £104, never again.

Great location with ample free parking outside. The room was huge with an amazing amount of storage for those staying longer. The bathroom was really lovely - a surprise bearing in mind that we only paid a value price. No breakfast was not a problem as there are a host of cafes near by. The room was great value and nice and large. It felt a little bare - a few more pictures could create a more homely feel.
