Location was fantastic. A bit difficult with luggage getting there, no problem after. Great base camp for all things Salzburg as well as lakes district, etc. Request a room facing away from the street, which gets wonderfully alive till after dinner.

great location on a pedestrian street in the old town, the building dates from about 1380 but has all modern facilities including proper A/C, staff were friendly, breakfast exceptional, our rooms were very quiet with a hint of a view of Salzburg rooftops and landmarks The rooms and showers are small by American standards, but it's a centrally located hotel in Europe so we were expecting that. A pipe burst the day of our arrival and one of our three rooms was affected, but the staff found us a suitable apartment nearby and helped us settle in. Staff were very accommodating and helpful.

Everything was great- no complaints!

Great location, friendly staff, and very clean. We were there during one of the worst heat waves they have had and I had not booked a room with a conditioner. There was a really good fan and he upgraded the room for us which was very nice but it was very hot. Just make sure when you book to verify that you pick an air conditioned room if it is in the summer. Need more air conditioned rooms.

Everything about this hotel is top notch, especially the air conditioning (we stayed during heat wave). The hotel is beautifully equipped with modern facilities and location in central of town. We were fortunate to have stayed during a Salzburg City Festival where the festivities…live music, food, drink, and community vibe were exceptional. Loved shopping here. Everything was perfect. Everything about this property is ideal for your stay while on vacation.

Everything was wonderful. Parking was right up the street, directions were clear, and breakfast was delightful! We loved it all!

The hotel was very quiet, clean and centrally located. Also, the breakfast was plentiful and offered many different types of food from cold to hot buffet. The air conditioner in our room was a little noisy, and as the staff were unable to correct the problem, they gave us a new room.

Too many steps up and then down to reach the Reception Desk!
