COOL MAMA Hotel Salzburg

We drove to Salzburg by car and Hotel offered us a 5 euro per day parking rate on the spot (when checking-in), which was great. Room was amazing, with a view to the garden behind the hotel, brand new and with a luxurious bathroom & big tub for lounging. Double sinks, and every toiletry imaginable was provided. Crisp A/C. Bed was comfortable. Room was completely silent even though there's a highway next to the hotel. A great stay! Suburban location but there's a trolley bus connection to the city center just around the corner of the hotel, which served us fine. No rating is deducted because of this.

Very clean, friendly and useful staff, great breakfast. Top level parking & fitness center facilities. Location - not near the center of Salzburg, must have car/taxi. Nothing - Everything was perfect!

The staff are so friendly, the hotel is right off the highway so super convenient for us as we had just landed in Vienna and were very tired. Not having to navigate the city centre to find the hotel was a saviour. Modern, stylish and very considered spaces. After a long haul flight, this was exactly the space we needed to rest and restore. Nothing, well- maybe the windows from the bathroom into the room....blinds were essential her to keep some mystery to our marriage haha

Rooms had beautiful views. Guest public transit cards provided for free were a great bonus. Breakfast should be discounted for guests. When you book online, there is one price, but when you come to the property, there are many upcharges-local tax, daily parking fees, extra person per room charges…it adds up!

The only thing I didn’t like was the smell of the bed blanket and pillow cases like as they didn’t change them from the previous guests

Quite and prime location . 2 minutes walking distance to tram station which takes you to old town and the center of Salzburg in 12 minutes. 5 minutes by car to Europark mall and the designer outlet .10 minutes to airport.Staff are very friendly and helpful. It seems there is no room service to bring breakfast to the room ??

The location

This is the best hotel that I have ever stayed. It offers everything that I could ask for. I stayed here for attending a conference at Messe. It’s a new, morden and well-maintained hotel. Despite my room was on the lower level, the view was still great with my window facing right at the fortress. Light controls are the best combination of style, technology, functionality and user-friendliness. Thanks to the “fresh air enhancement mode”, there’s no typical hotel room stuffiness odder. The sound proof among rooms and floors is unbelievable. Although the hotel was pretty much booked because of the event, I didn’t hear any noise what so ever during my stay. The WIFI signal was stable and the seed was fast, nothing like the typical “hotel WIFI”. The location was perfect for me with less than 10min walk to Messe and bus stops that take me right to the city center or train station. The breakfast was great on the top floor with stunning views. The stuff members are generally friendly. The price is super reasonable compared with those in the city center. I personally prefer to stay away from the bustling city center even if I travel for leisure and would totally stay here for either business or leisure travel. The hotel provides bus pass, so you don’t have to worry about how and what kind of bus ticket/pass you should buy. Please be aware the bus schedule on Saturday and Sunday is different from weekdays with limited availability. Realtime schedules in the bus app is more reliable than the print out schedules posted at the bus stops. Overall, I had an excellent experience of staying at Cool Mama and wish more any more hotel could fulfill these simple requirements from guests at hotels! None

Unfortunately, our stay was negatively affected by the treatment we received during breakfast. We were denied entry because my mother was covering her head. We found this treatment unfair, disrespectful, and discriminatory. A hotel should be welcoming to guests from different cultures, backgrounds, and religious beliefs. No guest should feel excluded or judged because of their clothing or personal appearance. I sincerely hope that your hotel reviews this policy and learns from this incident to ensure that future guests are treated with respect and dignity.

Fabulous hotel, great views, great staff It is a little way out of the city, however great buses and ubers are easy to get

Nothing One of the worst experience I ever had, despite I have booked the top category they have but the way of hospitality is terrible, room description is a misleading - No water to drink - If you request an iron you have to pay a fee - no Kettle - Pillows are bad, if you ask to change, you have to pay a rent per pec per night (I bought one from outside) - Despite the location outside the city and it’s not a commercial area, you will be charged for the car parking per night. Thankfully I booked 2 night only, cuz here every breath you take its with a fee,,

Far from the downtown

Just a fabulous Property. Cool modern lots of interesting technology and modern design. Staff were very helpful. The location seems far out, but actually is very accessible by boss. The views from the rooms are outstanding.

too late to refund my Deposit one month the dress code polocy in the top roof

Calm, clean, modern and excellent parking I understand, appreciate and respect that the hotel was very clear about the dress code and iron guidelines, however, these small things reduce the hotel value in comparison to all the hotels around the world that I had stayed in.

Clean and great access if you have car. Maybe some more furniture in the bedroom and lower the bed.

Great location, great view to the surroundings of the city. Very modern style of the building. Interesting concept of the 'floating' bed.

The room itself was good The sky restaurant has an anti-muslim policy. Which was really disappointing. We went for the breakfast the first morning of our stay and were denied entry because my wife wears a head scarf ( not face covering ).
