Radisson Blu Hotel & Conference Centre, Salzburg

Very clean spacious rooms. Extremely close train station. Felt it was a bit expensive, and the surrounding area wasn’t super pretty that said absolutely convenient to the train station

The hotel's location is great! It is very close to Salzburg Central Station, with a lot of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The room are great , the size are big and bathroom also great. The facilities are wonderful—featuring a great gym, a nice small pool, and a lovely lobby, exactly what you would expect from a standard Radisson hotel. If you are planning to rent a car, the pickup location is right in front of the hotel, which is super convenient. There was some construction happening next door during our stay, but it didn’t bother us at all. Salzburg offers a guest mobility program where tourists get free use of public transport. Unfortunately, reception didn't offer this to us at check-in; we only received the cards the next day after we found out about it from someone else and went back to ask for them. That was definitely disappointing. Additionally, the room’s air conditioning could use some improvement, as it didn't feel cold at all.

Location was good, so close to the train and busses, it was ok in most of the sides.

We stayed 4 nights with family (2 kids) and we loved the Room size, amenities, hotel facilities and breakfast. Underground parking access and noise from construction across the hotel during our stay was bit disturbing but we understand it’s temporary.

The room was great and I appreciated the AC. Parking was a bit expensive but I guess expected given the location. It was a bit far from downtown and with the heat, the walk was a bit longer.

The location is excellent—it’s very close to the train station, which made getting around Salzburg very convenient. The hotel was modern, clean, and well maintained. Our room was comfortable and spotless, and we really enjoyed the delicious breakfast with a good variety of options. We had a great time and would definitely consider staying here again. The only things that could be improved were related to our check-in experience. When we arrived, the receptionist seemed frustrated while assisting another group of guests and appeared a bit impatient, which made the atmosphere feel less welcoming. I understand that busy situations can be stressful, but a calmer and friendlier approach would leave a better first impression. In addition, we later found out that we were entitled to a complimentary welcome drink, but this was never mentioned during check-in, so we missed the opportunity to enjoy it. It would be helpful if staff informed guests about all the benefits included with their stay. Despite these minor issues, we had a pleasant experience overall and enjoyed our stay.

The pillows were thin and no extra pillows in the room. The water of the pool would benicer a few degrees warmer.

Location is excellent. Walkable from train station. Good areas to eat around. Walkable to a lot of the attractions/ meeting points for excursions. Construction going on behind the property was the only problem. There is construction going on behind the property so it was loud sometimes.

Breakfast not good

Drinking Water was complimentary only on the first day. The Assistant Manager was not accomodating unlike the other staff in the front desk.

The breakfast is large so many options, the gym was incredible, the rooms are lovely. The location to the train station is fabulous and sixt car rental return! Extremely busy with people

The bathroom wasn’t cleaned well Inside the icebox was an old, used tea bag. After what i saw the price is overvalued

Parking very tight, old furniture in the room..personal did jot send invoice as agreed at reception..

The room was very clean; however, I think because of the changeover from the Wyndham to Radisson Blu Hotel our bathroom shampoo/conditioner/body wash was not available. On our last day we noticed that these facilities were placed in their holders.

We chose this location for our one night stay in Salzburg due to its proximity to the train station. We had to leave early in the morning. The room as nice and adequate. Their bar is beautiful and the service was great! It is about a 13 minute walk to Mirabel gardens from here. This was rebranded to a Radisson from a Wyndham. We were under the impression we had booked their Executive package with free breakfasts, etc. Since we were just staying one night, we didn't mention it to the staff.

Location is near to train station -

The hotel staff were all exceptional. There was an issue with our reservation due to a late/early arrival at the property. The problem required some time to resolve and the agent knew we were tired and offered for us to go to one of our two rooms while he resolved the issue. His empathy and kind understanding were greatly appreciated and have become rare in the hospitality industry. Nothing…it was a fantastic experience!

Located near train station and small shopping mall. Also 15 min walk to old town. Can also take free bus near hotel and train station. Noisy at night from traffic. Some construction next door.
